The Hampden turf will be forked up or fecked up for next week…no way the Hampden suits want to see us win a treble…I witnessed it in hospitality with my brother.
The feckers couldn’t get out of their seats quick enough at the final whistle when we beat Hibs 3-0.

pitch bad, ref as well and booted of the park.
if we had played like ict we would have ended up with nine men

Today’s result wasnt a great surprise.
Since start of season RD has improved fitness and team spirit in the squad, but, i still think we win games because we have better individuals, not that we are a better team.
Tactical inflexibility let us down today, and that is something we need to address for Europe.
4231 has served us well domestically, but , I tend to think better players , fitness and team spirit is driving success, not the tactics.
If we want to push on, we need to adapt to conditions like today ( poor pitches) and opposition tactics ( e.g. Crowding the ‘3’), which means switching to 442 , 352 or 433,
imho, switching to 442 after 60 mins would have delivered a result today
In context, as we sit on verge of a treble, these are pleasant problems to have

south of tunis- that’s about as much logic as you need for the national!
Not too sure about that this time.A real classy field for the National this year.
Unless 25 of them all fall at the 1st.

Not seen the game so cannot comment however,
I would have taken a draw before kick off as, historically, we rarely fare well in Inverness.

Today we had 9 corners (one every 10mins) versus their 3.
Were they ever troubled (apart from their first defender..?)
We give defenses an easy life from set pieces (that are often hard to win…).
Something to look at, Ronnie?
Personally, I would prefer somebody like a Vinegor deHesselink, Chris Sutton, or Pierre VanHoodoink.
Can you get one, pls, Ronnie?
Thanks!

Breaking news:
SFA announce that it is actually Sports Direct that own Hampden, so the pitch will be in pristine condition for next weekend’s semi- finals.
Sports Direct are also pleased to announce that “Broxi Bear” will be serving pre-match snacks and Newcastle ale before and after the match, as well as providing the half time entertainment .
The SFA wish to disassociate themselves with any goodwill generated by next week’s semi-finals.

If Scepovic isn’t in the manager’s plans, who on earth signed him?
In view of a scathing comment made about me earlier in the week by Tom McLaughlin when I commented on signings in football in general, I will tread warily.
Scepovic would not be the first footballer foisted on an unwilling manager, nor will he be the last. In a purely Glasgow context, I cannot imagine that David Fernandez was Martin O’Neill’s first signing choice and Colin Hendry, who filled the Ibrox bill in a number of ways, was certainly not Dick Advocaat’s favourite choice over Amorosu.
Again, I emphasise that I speaking about football in general when I say that for fans and shareholders alike there should be greater transparency in the matter of just who gets what out of both inward and outward signing deals. If nobody has anything to hide there should be no problem with this.

The club would be failing if it relied on one man, the manager, to sign players.

Some fans need to stop living in the past
At the end of the day, unless there is transparency about who made the ultimate decision in signing a player, it is the manager who will get it in the neck if the player falls as far short as Scepovic has so far.
