Irony behind robust SFA rules

1103

The statement released by Duff and Phelps last night revealed the substance to the lobbying that had taken place since the original punishment handed out by the SFA judicial panel:

“The decision by the appellate tribunal to uphold the sanction, namely the suspension of registration of players for one year, is not competent in the view of the club and its legal advisers.

“Such a sanction was not available to the tribunal”.

The suspension of player registrations was not one of the suggested punishments on the menu for the judicial panel but the rules allowed them to vary from guidance and choose whatever punishment they believed appropriate.

The appeal correctly found that the judicial panel were not were not subject to an exhaustive list of possible punishments.  Duff and Phelps main hope was that the SFA rules were unclear and poorly constructed, as they were before an overhaul last year.

You don’t need to look too hard for the irony.

It is not a disability if you are deluded, a ned or both.

Where does all this shite about Rangers fans being on disability benefits come from? They were getting all the jobs when I lived in Glasgow.

So the huns supporters are giving the voters the choice of

if you dont vote us back in unanimously we’ll boycott you

vote us out and we’re insignificant

I hope the keep the pressure on, threatening boycotts in their position is probably the worst strategy their master tactician could have come up with.

    It’s not the 70’s anymore.

And a lot of them come from the Jeremy Kyle guest demographic. Plenty of money for fags, booze, Rainjurs season tickets, and morbid obesity, and plenty of time on their hands because their lifestyles are being funded by working people. (thumbsup)

I don’t think anybody’s having a go at disabled people.

The system of disability benefits is widely abused by people who have made a conscious lifestyle choice to opt out of working for a living, because work gets in the way of their hobbies of alcoholism, drug use, and general neddery. These poor lumpen creatures are overrepresented among the Follow Followers.

For every gross and thick Hun on crutches there are 10 gross and thick Huns with Christian names like Crawford, Thomson, Ramsey and Brown who are in good jobs and are far more sinister than the ‘Big Hoose Joker.

I have a right good story on the above subject, i may spend time and type it out 1 day.

  23. Read the Evening Times at lunchtime today which featured a nauseating puff-piece by one Chris Jack featuring Huns coach Jim Stewart eulogising McCoist and McGregor (or “Greesgy” (sic) as the sub-heading calls him). More words on this than the failed appeal. It even includes a plug for Stewart’s son’s coaching business complete with website address and contact phone number!

There is an interview with Broony but this begins “He had waited four years to get his hands of (sic) the SPL championship trophy as captain of Celtic”.
