Is it 1 or 12 in a row tomorrow?

1011

So what’s this, one in a row?  It’s been almost four years since that night in Dundee but when the questions concerning ineligible players are eventually answered, who knows, it could be 12 in a row or more.  We’ll find out soon enough.

The margin of supremacy Celtic have this season means that when the inevitable comes, whether it is two weeks or more after the earliest date the league could be won, the celebrations will not be as acute as they were in 2008 or even in 2001, when we finally knew our long period underfoot was finished, however, this will be recorded as one of the most important season’s in our history.

The methods which were used to combat Celtic’s re-emergence under Martin O’Neill and then Gordon Strachan have been laid bare.  The “crash and burn” predictions that so many of us spent years talking about, while Celtic ‘lost’ trophies but paid their bills have come true.

Tomorrow will be a special day.  Enjoy it.

Over the last few days I’ve become more and more agitated by your posts. Tonight CQN has been a place of warmth, hope, anticipation and inspiration.

A few people – bjmac, Fourgreenfields, Martin42 and archdeaconsbench have written posts that have fostered all that is great about being a Tim. Sadly, you are going some way to ruining that joyous mood and I would politely ask you to desist, it does you, and CQN no favours.

I’m aware that you have issues with one or two posters in particular I would suggest that in the interests of harmony you simply scroll on by them in future. You’ll probably feel all the better for doing so.

You’ve been through a lot since then as well, you can smile tomorrow, my friend – others have been smiling on us and will continue to do so.

I’m willing to bet that every single hack in this country, the First Minister and a good few politicians, members of the SFA and ex-pros, have all came away with ‘Scottish Football needs Rangers’, or ‘Celtic need Rangers’. The idiocy of this comment does my brain in. Whether or not Rangers are needed is NOT the issue. Terry and many others have stated time and again that the ONLY issue is sporting integrity and justice. Why do so many prominent people feel the urge to plead for clemency through this futile statement, as if the huns or Scottish Football itself were exempt from the normal course of justice.

The analogy I keep thinking of is this one; There are women in prisons all over the world (inc Scotland) who are mothers of babies. In many cases the baby goes to jail with the mother. If ever their was a case for leniency then this is it, but too often justice is seen as paramount and mother and baby are incarcerated.

Some idiots realy do think the huns are that important. Let them do the time and come back in 3 or 4 years.

  17. The Exiled Tim @ 20.41,

As you say, it’s relative: I’m just rtying to establish whether we have a level playing field on this blog.

PFayr’s advice is sound, but I had no intention of swearing or slandering in any case – I don’t do them.

The problem with “my man” is that he CAN’T take it; he’s too dim to maintain a dialogue but too arrogant to accept the fact, so he descends to abuse & obscenity. There’s a fine sample of his talents a little below your posting: like the huns, he thinks that he can get away with it.

  18. missed a few pages, maybe just the quiz(nothing against quiz)…
