Is it 1 or 12 in a row tomorrow?

1011

So what’s this, one in a row?  It’s been almost four years since that night in Dundee but when the questions concerning ineligible players are eventually answered, who knows, it could be 12 in a row or more.  We’ll find out soon enough.

The margin of supremacy Celtic have this season means that when the inevitable comes, whether it is two weeks or more after the earliest date the league could be won, the celebrations will not be as acute as they were in 2008 or even in 2001, when we finally knew our long period underfoot was finished, however, this will be recorded as one of the most important season’s in our history.

The methods which were used to combat Celtic’s re-emergence under Martin O’Neill and then Gordon Strachan have been laid bare.  The “crash and burn” predictions that so many of us spent years talking about, while Celtic ‘lost’ trophies but paid their bills have come true.

Tomorrow will be a special day.  Enjoy it.

You will struggle mate I tell ye :-))

I missed Dunfermline away around New Year because I was visiting my mum in Worcester. For an hour I went from pub to pub trying to find one that would show the game.

The problem is that most don’t have ESPN. Eventually found one but the locals were watching repeats of ‘Only Fools and Horses’ (I kid you not!!)

Well after some of the ole hamiltontim shmooth talk and the promise of 3 free drinks for the female manager, I eventually got to watch the Celtic.

I can’t remember the name of the boozer but will phone my mum in the morning and see if she can remember the name of it.

    Hope that helps.

Totally agree, and it totally pains me to think what would have happened if we got that late penalty. A quick 11 months.

    Ha, found me out :>)

There are a few good writers on the blog, folks like me can only dream of being like them, I know what I want to say, just can’t hit the right keys.

The wife would be like James Forrest, Brogan, TBB etc,to name but a few, sorry to a few others, her skill has never rubbed off, but I know what I like to read :>))

    …………………………………….

    petec

Aye, tis a good blog Paul has provided us with, and it’s up to us to respect it, and respect each other in the process.

Sometimes we all write things we looking back may well regret posting, but once it’s down on the blog, too late, I have that problem late on sometimes, too mucho vino tinto and the keys get a battering, but hey, it’s in there and just comes out sometimes, but no matter how blootered I get, I try my damnest not to upset others, doesn’t always work, but I try, and I never tell porkies.

Tis a good time to be a Tim, it’s not every day we win a league, and it’s not every day we know we should have won many more leagues, as a support we have always known, but now that the truth is out there, it’s all the sweeter.

    HH

  15. lets hope tomorrow see’s us win the first of many titles after 4 seasons without 1.

if we manage to win the title tomorrow, i would like to see youngsters getting a run out for the remainder of the season, with one eye on the future. i do think NL is open to bringing players through the system if they are good enough, which should see Dylan, the nigerian kid, the cezch twins, george and watt given some first team game time.

    i would imagine there will be a huge summer cull this year;

free transfers: m. wilson, cha, loovens, o’dea, thompson, blackman and dan

nominal fee: radmussion, murphy, mcginn (100K +)

decent fee: mccourt, jaurez, commons, K. Wilson (500k +)

good fee: ki, hooper (5 million +)

hopefully in the summer we will have enough money and budget to bring in a quality:

    goal-scoring striker who is powerful

    a creative midfielder

    keep foster

as well as the polish centre back already signed.

there is every chance we will have a decent run in europe i.e. qualification into CL if NL and the board make the right moves this summer.
