Is it 1 or 12 in a row tomorrow?

1011

So what’s this, one in a row?  It’s been almost four years since that night in Dundee but when the questions concerning ineligible players are eventually answered, who knows, it could be 12 in a row or more.  We’ll find out soon enough.

The margin of supremacy Celtic have this season means that when the inevitable comes, whether it is two weeks or more after the earliest date the league could be won, the celebrations will not be as acute as they were in 2008 or even in 2001, when we finally knew our long period underfoot was finished, however, this will be recorded as one of the most important season’s in our history.

The methods which were used to combat Celtic’s re-emergence under Martin O’Neill and then Gordon Strachan have been laid bare.  The “crash and burn” predictions that so many of us spent years talking about, while Celtic ‘lost’ trophies but paid their bills have come true.

Tomorrow will be a special day.  Enjoy it.

It has always been just about Celtic, whilst they implode Celtic have been working hard on all aspects to improve IMO. There is a change coming and we could not be in a better shape for when that happens.

Hail Hail m8 and have a Superb day.

#Celtic XI: Forster; Matthews, Loovens, K. Wilson, Mulgrew; Brown, Ki, Ledley, Commons; Samaras, Hooper (TH)

Subs: Zaluska, Stokes, Cha, Blackman, F. Twardzik, Brozek, Ibrahim

Should also be remembered that when MON left WGS was told he had to curtail spending , as we chose not to follow the Huns into financial oblivion. He did this , the Huns continued to spend other people’s money , and he still managed to lead us to 3 in a row.

Like with The Bunnet , it often takes a few years before a lot of people truly recognise the real feats achieved by these Celtic men !

Nice to see young Ibrahim on the bench today. Not a bad old introduction to life as a Celtic footballer.

It would be nice if Ibrahim and Brozek came on today.

If we’re winning well I’d like to see Zaluszka come on as well.

  7. My sons first away league winning game :-) He got a ticket I didn’t :-(

Don’t dare mess it up for him ‘Tic.

  8. I am just watching Liam Miller playing for Perth Glory and can’t help but think it could have been so different for him if he had only stayed at Celtic. He could have been at Rugby Park this afternoon and doing some celebrating.

  9. Enjoy your day out fellow bhoys and spare me a thought as I will be with 8 huns on a stag to Carlisle.

    Our day has come!

That is such a beautiful and symbolic picture of what Celtic is.

The joy on their faces flying the Celtic flag.

    Thank You

Looks like Izzy is injured, thats a real shame because he deserves to be out there today of all days.

Feel sad for big Vic Wanyama , for the role he’s played since coming into the team this season I would really have loved to see the young man enjoy that title clinching experience on the pitch……actually just realised I feel the same for James Forrest too.

Here’s to hoping these young Celtic men get the chance to enjoy many more in the years to come.

  13. That looks like a good team – slight concern about the 2 centre backs .Have to be positive ,attack and score goals. Simple.

Sorry you picked me up wrong last night.

What I was inferring was that Prestwick was closer than Glasgow and that you might make the game:)

However in the light of morning, the E word was a tad insensitive.

Safe home and have a party later.

Have a great day all those going to the game,I’d imagine the Clansman will be a welcoming atmosphere.

Nerves are jangling. Atmosphere here in killie is crackling…and I’m in a early quiet boozer. Some tadger added to the excitement by pulling the emergency stop chord on the train on the way here from Glasgow. Right. Finishing my pint, and double malt, then off to the game. Hail hail to all. See you on the otherside as champions 2011/12 . 12 in a row Paul

  17. Quiet celebration this afternoon then down to Clockwork for Frank O’Hagan session.

I hope all CQNers enjoy the day in their own way.

    Be careful, though.

  18. Ianinascoli – you’re correct. We did lose 3-0 at Fir Park on the Wednesday before we clinched the title in 1977. Andy Lynch scored 2 own goals! I went to my bed when it was 2-0 on Sportscene (I was 9) and was literally in tears the next morning when I heard the full time score, not helped by the fact that my brother had some strange allegiance to Motherwell at the time!
