So what’s this, one in a row? It’s been almost four years since that night in Dundee but when the questions concerning ineligible players are eventually answered, who knows, it could be 12 in a row or more. We’ll find out soon enough.
The margin of supremacy Celtic have this season means that when the inevitable comes, whether it is two weeks or more after the earliest date the league could be won, the celebrations will not be as acute as they were in 2008 or even in 2001, when we finally knew our long period underfoot was finished, however, this will be recorded as one of the most important season’s in our history.
The methods which were used to combat Celtic’s re-emergence under Martin O’Neill and then Gordon Strachan have been laid bare. The “crash and burn” predictions that so many of us spent years talking about, while Celtic ‘lost’ trophies but paid their bills have come true.
Tomorrow will be a special day. Enjoy it.

Truly inspirational post there m8. I too am hoping to have my first alcohol free championship celebration but have mixed feelings as (I’m sure you have known the feeling) I think I’m missing out on something by not going the full 9… Its early days for myself. Very early. And not the first attempt but I really appreciated your post as its exaclty what I needed to hear the now mate. I’ve actually already shrugged off the idea that I’m missing something and fully looking forward to the morra. Thanks again bud. HH.

Only messing as I’m sure you’re aware music/singing is not my most favoured area of the curriculum :-))
Auld Neil Lennon heid –

Respect to you, Bud

On this Good Friday I would ask all posters to remember and perhaps say a prayer for all who have lost love ones since last Good Friday.

I know you are mate but you are spot on when God decided who was getting what talents, for whatever reason he decided Lennybhoy wasn’t to do music/singing…:)

Keep strong mate it’ll be worth it in the long run.
so the beamback. is it free? Thinking of taking boy, father and grandfather. Any sort of indoor hospitality?
Right hands up whose going to the game 2moro?
I’ve only just seen the penalty that William Collum gave to Metalist Kharkiv against Sporting. Virtually no contact from the Sporting player but the Kharkiv player goes down. Hmm. It could have changed the result but Kharkiv missed the penalty.
To be fair to Collum, Sporting play in green and white hoops.

Can’t wait for tomorrow , butterfly’s building up in the stomach in anticipation of another memorable title win forum beloved Celtic .
Good luck to all you Bhoys going to Killie , be safe and show the world what it means to be a part of the Celtic Family.
This title will mean so much , considering the crap we as a club have had to put up with but more especially – what Neil Lennon has had to endure since coming to Scotland (sectarian backwater ) .
Neil , you have earned every minute of your celebrations for this title win and for your love of Celtic.
We all love our club and we are all Neil Lennon.
Hail Hail

I’m currently ticketlus (d’you see what I did there?) but thinking of travelling anyway.
Alternatively, there’s the option of Jelly and Ice cream with a couple of CQN lurkers.
So, a win-win…as long as we win.
Or draw.
Enjoy!
is the beamback a ticket affair or just turnip ?

Round 1: If you know your league clinching history (1)? The season was 2006/7 and we were playing Killie away and were about to clinch the league title?
(2pts per correct answer if you are first to answer correctly, 1pt if you answer correctly but not first. One submission only per round)
1 Who scored our winning goal that day?
2 Who played their first Hoops game in 3 years that day?
3 Who scored our first goal?
4 Which former Celt was playing for Killie that day?
5 Who skippered the Hoops that day?
6 Of the 4 remaining leagues left after the Killie game, how many did the Hoops win?
7 Who did we beat in the Scottish Cup final to clinch the double that season?
