Is it any wonder Celtic fans worry about contagion?

639

Not only are Newco left without an auditor, a Nomad and therefore a market listing, outgoing auditors Deloitte, wrote to the club last month to explain they were resigning due to threatening and intimidating messages received by their staff from anonymous persons during 2013 and 2014 in relation to their work with the club.

The toxicity of that football club is difficult to overstate.  Is it any wonder Celtic fans are clear: the ‘Old Firm’ died in 2012?  Any attempts to rekindle it will result in contagion for our own club, who maybe smaller going forward without the ‘Old Firm’ dividend, but it will be healthier nonetheless.

I’ll take 40,000 crowds and winning the next 30 titles in a canter, bring it on.

why dont they simplify the scoring system to just have a single combined score like they do in the egg chasing

would i b allowed into a game with my abacus or would i get done for carrying an offensive weapon?

  7. Paul NOBODY wants to touch them with a barge pole in a word they are a DISEASE !

  8. Apologies for another post relating to football and Celtic specifically but…

I read that we have had a bid rejected for Aiden McGeady…

Now,if ever there was a player NOT designed for high tempo pressing and a work rate based style of play then Aiden is yer man.

Like wee James, he is good when in possession but as soon as someone has the temerity to win it off him then the hands go up, the ref gets it in the ear, his team-mates get their share of the blame and only then does he consider tracking back! And usually, tracking means fouling.

A decent player but certainly not in our system. I’m puzzled.

  11. I know yesterday was a pre season friendly

But our squad of internationals, should NOT be losing 5 goals

Style of play should be known, so from midfield to defence, we should organised well enough, and know a system to defend

  13. Very well said Paul.

Can you imagine Celtic trying to hook up with Sevco to secure (e.g.) joint shirt sponsorship (let’s forget about Mr Ashley’s grip for a minute!), or anything else?

How could the Celtic board actually agree to it given the shambles at Ibrox?!

Meanwhile, I see Craig Swan of the Record/Sunday Mail was taking a pop at Celtic this morning over the potential Ciftci transfer. Here are some thoughts on it!

Watched a very good docu on RT this morning, about the perception in the US that most of the welfare reciepiants are black, when in fact the vast majority are white, showed how the power of the meja worked against ethnic people, feckin scary place that is, and jeezo they are as thick as huns.

  15. Cowiebhoy – exactly. You will not see any other CL teams lose 5 goals to mid table Czech teams.

We had both fullbacks bombing forward, we had no holding midfielder, we pressed in ones and twos.

This is all tactical and system related rather than fitness. It’s a worry.

Jeezo we could festoon every lampost out to Paisley Road West in 100 years or so

    What’s the half-life of a Sevco?

    Any realistic danger of contagion?

Correct, he did get in the ear from a few wummin with kids. Quite a few Celtic fans in the carriage, I for one am glad no one reacted. Babbling about the o/o just looked and sounded like a total hun bigot .He was the perfect advert for thems. Showed them up for what they are .

  21. Another day another sevco article.

Paul is of course 100% correct about Deloitte amd I have have heard it from the horses mouth.

But isn’t it odd then that did espouses his lust for their return and PL tells us how much money we are losing without the Hun. But we won’t use old firm words no site Bob.

So Celtic join in the corruption but it’s ok cow we won’t say old firm anymore.

  24. Toffee Tim, We are not a man down, it might have looked that for the past 10 minutes but we still have 15 on the field. It was a black card, that means the player carded can play no further part in the game, but he can be replaced. So it was Kerrigan off but Kelly on.
