CELTIC duo Gustaf Lagerbielke and Rocco Vata have emerged as targets for Italian clubs.
The Swedish centre-back, who cost £3million from Elfsborg in the summer, is now on the wanted list of Hellas Verona as the clock ticks down on the transfer deadline.
And Republic of Ireland Under-21 winger Vata, son of former Hoops defender Rudi, has attracted interest from THREE Serie A sides with the player due to come out of contract in the summer.
BHOY IN DEMAND…Rocco Vata has been targeted by three Italian clubs.
Lagerbielke, 23, has dropped down the pecking order at the champions behind Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liam Scales, Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh in the battle for a place in the middle of the Hoops rearguard.
A move, either permanent or on a loan basis, is the likely solution and the Swedish international has also been linked with moves to top-flight sides Genoa and Leece, according to a report in the Daily Record.
Vata’s progress has been monitored by Bologna, Como and Sampdoria and a cut-price switch could be on the cards.
The Hoops, though, still hope the 18-year-old right-sided operator, who has yet to start a first-team game, will consider remaining at the champions.
