It’s you, it’s all you, CQN Magazine and Annual out now!

590

It’s all go here, the latest edition of CQN Magazine went live online late last night.  There is a whole section on the goings-on in Amsterdam, together with ‘Dam’-ing video evidence of police assaults on Celtic supporters.  There are a full 26 articles by some of the most talented writers from the Celtic community.

As we’re near the year end, check out ‘Doc’s Year on CQN’.  You can read the whole thing online by clicking here.  Use the buttons at the bottom right of the magazine to navigate through the pages.

I see it is alleged that Charles Green’s signature on the document, submitted to Companies House, is a forgery!  ‘Hooks’ are cited on the signature where hooks don’t always otherwise appear.

I do hope, for Mr Green’s sake, his signature is consistently without hooks.  A man who has held as many directorships as Green will have signed his name many time.  Let’s hope few resemble the forgery.  It would also help if there was no material supporting Craig Whyte’s claim to be a director of Sevco 5088 Ltd, which would be downright inconvenient, especially evidence from Green himself that he “handed the company back” to Whyte.

The tide surrounding the events in Amsterdam last week is beginning to turn.  Ajax were fined €25k for a group of their fans displaying an offensive banner.  The Dutch champions will take steps to recover the fine from those responsible for the banner, which will surely reduce the chances of a repeat offense to practically zero.

The CQN Annual is off the presses and pre-orders will be posted today!  Its 226 full colour pages of Celtic Delight, written and produced by the Celtic support.  You can order online in plenty time to discretely read yourself before passing it off as a Christmas present. Just make sure Craig Whyte is not around to tape you reading it out loud, or when you sign any documents, for that matter.

My thanks to everyone who contributed to the Annual.  It has been an epic undertaking but I’m sure you’ll love it.[calameo code=000390171e05b9b63a832 lang=en page=92 hidelinks=1 width=100% height=500]

  1. Think I mentioned last week that my colleagues mate lives in Venloe (sp?) in Holland and has passed on that in the past week there has been a sea change in attitude to what happened in Amsterdam – there are more are more videos being released of police brutality, and fans being attacked – the mood has changed, especially in the press, from that of Celtic fans attacking and rioting to Celtic fans being abused and attacked.

Re the typhoon in The Philippines.

Many of you know that THE BARCA MOLE and his family live there-indeed they flew back on Sunday, and arrived yesterday morning (our time)

Never one to make a drama out of a crisis, his own property is “no bad” and his family,by all accounts, are safe.

Unfortunately,as he lives near the worst-hit area, three typhoons and an earthquake in the last coupla months, the same cannot be said for the neighbourhood nor for the local population.

They had little to start with, and little of that left.

I’m grateful TBM’s family are safe, and he will update this when he gets back online.

Someone mentioned last night a point which I had been considering for a few days re the policing in Amsterdam.

Were the local force acting on info received from Scotland?

And will that point be raised if the heat gets too much over there?

What’s the name of that hun ex-journo mouthpiece for the cops in Scotland? Cos I think he may be bricking it at the moment…..

This is going to blow up big time on the Dutch cops they’ve went to far this time and everything will come out in the wash and the info the Scottish cops gave them will come out aswell, I’m guessing the Dutch cops will use that in there defence HH

Bobby Shorthouse is his name but I think he may have moved on to a new position, not sure but did hear something on twitter re this a while ago.

I have asked the same question a few times lately. Focus officers were in attendance and we have 1st hand accounts of Focus offices verbally abusing our fans in Amsterdam. It does beg the question what did Focus say in their briefing to their Amsterdam colleagues and did this in any way determine the way they decided to Police our fans?

Can you even ask questions off the bat at these things ?

    – After The resolutions. There will be a question and answer session. Anyone can raise a question.

  15. Big Nan

You did well in the face of some hostile questioning there.

I too was a member of the Tufty Club but I don’t remember any promises from thae rabbits to help me out in times of trouble.

Mind you, the pals of Jimmy Stewart and Donnie Darko, Harvey & Frank, might have been emissaries. You should ask Jackson Carlaw that one.

  16. Was there a Scot police team in Amsterdam? They have travelled to other Celtic euro ties.

If they were there you might imagine they would be working with their Dutch brothers and they would almost certainly be hanging around the square as that was the main gathering of fans on the day of the game.

Someone needs to ask questions of them.

  17. Last week someone asked us to contact our MSPs, etc about the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications Act 2012. I did so and have received an invitation to meet with Stuart MacMillan next week, Further I received this communication from Annabel Goldie.

“Thank you for taking the time to contact me about the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012.

I completely share your concerns surrounding the application of the legislation, which the Scottish Conservatives voted against. The first annual statistics on the 2012 Act show conviction rates are considerably lower than those for aggravated breaches of the peace, the very offence the Act was designed to replace.

I am also aware of concerns expressed by the judiciary, the legal profession and supporters’ groups that the Act was poorly drafted and was being inappropriately applied and promoted by the Crown.

As you point out, the Scottish Government is committed to reviewing the Act but not until 2015. The Scottish Conservatives have already called for an earlier review of the Act and will continue to put pressure on the Scottish Government to examine this legislation as soon as possible.

The Justice Committee discussed this issue on 5th November and at that meeting, Scottish Conservative Justice Spokesperson, Margaret Mitchell MSP called for the creation of an ad hoc committee to review the legislation.

The Committee has now written to the Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs, Roseanna Cunningham MSP, the Lord Advocate and the Chief Constable to seek their views on the matter. The Justice Committee will be considering the issue on 19th November and at that meeting Margaret Mitchell MSP will again press for the creation of an ad hoc committee.”

Hopefully others have contacted their MSPs

I’ve just watched your appearance before the Petitions Committee at the Parliament. If I may say, you put your case very well. However, I reckon there were at least two brothers on that committee who were hell bent on trying to trip you up.

It is obvious to me that allegiances be declared by decision makers as it increases public confidence in the process and makes for better decisions.

Pease keep us posted regarding your progress with the petition.

  21. Watching Jordan versus Uruguay just now and Arevalo (Uru DM) looks good. Perhaps the opposition isn’t what it could be but he looks neat and tidy, currently playing in MLS for Chicago Fire.

  22. Big Nan as a matter of interest did any of the MSP,s declare an interest in the brotherhood or did you ask? Hail Hail Hebcelt I noted Jackson Carlaw declared no

Great presentation, especially your summing up on “conflict of oaths”. I’m pleased that I signed the petition.

It could be seen as funny, if it wasn’t so sad, that our representatives want your “proof” of improper conduct ignoring their secret nature. They don’t get it.

    Or maybe they do!

A very polished performance sir, congratulations.I will not undo your good work by getting too personal with the characters involved, (paranoid to think they log on?…..no),but as a tax paying onlooker,it did appear to me that MSP’s Wilson and Macdonald were ill at ease and did not want to be there……nor do I think they wanted you to be there! Also thought the chairman looked like SDM’s wee brother!!
