Joint Response Group holding statement

393

Scottish football’s Joint Response Group’s comments yesterday were little more than a holding statement.  Daily testing will move the dial little from every second day.  It was a demonstration to show they are still active and capable of responding, should the occasion arise.  My main concern this last week has been that the League Cup Final goes ahead with fans tomorrow.  Unlike earlier periods, any escalation this time looks like fixtures will be postponed, instead of games played behind closed doors.  As a season ticket holding fan, that would be my preference.

Let’s hope protocols hold up between now and the winter break, when everyone in the game can rest for a period.

  1. I’m unlikely to find the clip but it was Callum saying he wanted to Captain Celtic. The dude is sensational IMO and thoroughly deserves to lift the Silver later Today. If he disnae we will take it on the Jack McGinn and come back a lot stronger.

Story about the SPFL taking over the running of the womens’ game. Is this ’empire-building’ by Doncaster.

The ramifications could be far-reaching……..but powder kept dry till another day.

Certain starters today – Hart, Ralston Starfelt,CCV, Jura, Calmac, Rogic, Turnbull, Bitton – who will fill the forward positions?

Good afternoon all from Shawlands. A hard game in store today, won’t be easy. Anyways gerrintaethum Celtic!!!!

  5. King Kyogo clinches the cup with 2 goals that KoK would have been proud of. Well done Ange & all the Bhoys.

An extra extract from the BBC match report:

“The bigger picture is the boost this could do for this newly put-together Celtic team. Only three of the side who clinched a fourth straight treble against Hearts almost exactly a year ago were in the XI at Hampden. It is not the same group who dominated Scottish football for a decade.”

    Hail Hail

    In Ange we trust.
