Joint Response Group holding statement

393

Scottish football’s Joint Response Group’s comments yesterday were little more than a holding statement.  Daily testing will move the dial little from every second day.  It was a demonstration to show they are still active and capable of responding, should the occasion arise.  My main concern this last week has been that the League Cup Final goes ahead with fans tomorrow.  Unlike earlier periods, any escalation this time looks like fixtures will be postponed, instead of games played behind closed doors.  As a season ticket holding fan, that would be my preference.

Let’s hope protocols hold up between now and the winter break, when everyone in the game can rest for a period.

  1. Oh how I hope for a sweet, sweet victory today.

The cheating, atrocious tackles and subsequent injuries our team are getting is beyond the pale.

The 1st trophy of the season would rub all their feckin noses in the shit.

  3. Quite simply, if we ‘turn up’, we win. That will a tremendous psychological boost for Ange & the squad.

It may well be that today is our last match for some time. Let’s hope no more injuries and that Kyogo can get some game time.

  12. Sent this to the BBC Complaints Dep`t. Wouldn`t do any harm if as many others as possible did likewise:

`Could you explain why a photograph of Celtic supporters celebrating on the playing field at Ross County was used to promote an article on Ross County condemning racist/sectarian behaviour by their OWN supporters?`.

  13. Up at 7am

Up at 6.30am this morning as I couldn’t sleep so did Spin Class on the bike and watched the cricket

Been to 8am Mass and gave thanks for many things including attending my 50th Celtic Cup Final today (inc 3 Dryborough Cup and Seville which were all defeats )

Play list now sorted for travel to CP with my boy for pre game food etc.

Hopefully we can lift the trophy which will be the 27th time I will have seen that out of 50 !

Ange is pretty special as a leader IMO…..I think these special Celtic times are set for a new chapter. The league cup is a great marker to put down. It is certainly not a gimmee today though as 26 wins in 49 cup finals I have seen suggests they never are.

Hopefully it’s a great show and the Glasgow Celtic will be there 4-2 Celtic
