In a game full of delights, it was the fourth goal which stole the show. Jota had tracked back and had to control a loose ball facing his own corner flag. His first touch brought control and options, transforming a defensive position into a promising counterattack.
That kind of control makes the game look easy, Greg Taylor and Reo Hatate were able to pass out of the corner and progress the ball to Arne Engels. Arne’s pass around two Dundee players looked anything but easy; it was similar to the pass he made to Daizen Maeda at Fir Park on Sunday, for the third goal. If anything we see between now and May eclipses this as Goal of the Season, I will be surprised (although an own goal winner against Munich would meet the grade).
The same player collected the ball but this time he chipped the Dundee keeper from the edge of the box. If this is what we are in for, for the remainder of the season, it could be another memorable May. 13 points clear with 13 games to go, the run-in is underway.
6 is the magic number for Dundee. A 6-0 defeat last night, 0-6 defeat on Saturday, 6 points from bottom of the table St Johnstone, who have picked up 6 points in their last two games. Safety from relegation is no longer looking assured.

Agree with both points re Liverpool Spurs last night.
Liverpool are a top team and Arnie wants his first trophy asap. There was no let up.
Spurs were lacking in any form of belief or Ange style. It almost reminded me of Leveins capitulation with Scotland in Prague. He will fight on, think but it will be taken away from him soon.

” I do have a huge fear of losing the amazing dominant position we have built for ourselves. It matters a lot to me and is a genuine worry. It perhaps clouds my thinking and analysis of ‘evidence’. I should take stock of this.”
I believe many of us are in the same boat :-)
Off to the golf.
Cheerio for now.

Good to see some introspection and positivity on the blog. I have often looked out for your posts along with SFTBs and others on here and I worried at the shift in some of your recent posts, and I type that as a bhoy who shares a lot of your concerns. Hope you feel better soon – that performance against Dundee no doubt helped :)
I tried to read my first JF blog in a while the other day after the Dundee game as it actually looked from the headline like it might contain a semi positive Celtic article and I had to give up after a few paragraphs when he just got on his high horse and lectured fans about showing respect without a hint of irony. You said it so much better.

Reflective post, something we all need to do at times, regarding your appendix, I know where you are , mine burst when I was 13yrs old, emergency op 23 stitches no wound drain, on stitches removal the centre of the T incision burst open spraying the poor Nurse with the poison and everything else underneath the stiches, took months to recover, hopefully yours is cleaner and less complicated, soreness is normal get moving ASAP. Good luck.
BBC Scotland won’t be happy- but we’re in the last chance saloon, so screw the bobbin.

Sorry if anyone is squeamish.
Will need to check if Young Boys got fined for pyros at CP
I hope this judgement does not give anyone in our support the idea that we have be let off, and, 1 smoke bomb is ok, it’s not hope he was caught and dealt with.

Hope you have a full recovery- I hear that a glass of Gin is good for the healing process – Gordon’s anyone 🤣
Now that Greg Taylor has signed a pre contract, how does that sit with our trading model,i.e Get them in young, develop them and sell for a profit.
I for one will miss his commitment.Thoughts?
BURNLEY78
Ouch!
Get well soon!
I’m really sorry to see Greg Taylor go.
He’s a far better player than he’s given credit for – never hides and never less than fully committed to everything he does. He also seems to be a really popular guy and a big influence in the dressing room.
As someone else said , his biggest issue was following KT and it’s unfortunate for him he is to be followed by KT, otherwise I don’t think he’d be going.
Kudos to him for having the self belief and self respect not to want to play second fiddle to anyone, even KT.
I hope we get the chance to give him a proper send off at Parkhead or , better still, Hampden.
I watched most of the Liverpool v Spurs game last night.
I’m not claiming that the Spurs players were playing like a team that wants their manager sacked but if they were that’s pretty much exactly what it would look like.
They were awful ( even allowing for how good Liverpool are).
At one point they had a rare break – seven Liverpool players got back to defend against the only two Spurs players who made it up field. Not one other Spurs player looked like they cared enough to burst a gut to get there. Disgraceful.
I wonder if they’re a bit fed up with Ange’s relentless training (and the injuries that seems to bring) and his inflexibility.
I fear his time is up , unless he wins his promised second season trophy.
SMSM too soon to put the boot into Celtic as ever.
The unwelcome ‘lone smokebomb’ was treated as an international incident and headlined Scotland, giving them their latest ‘excuse’ to wade in. We were ‘banned’ before UEFA had even convened to discuss Celtic’s largely uneventful visit to Birmingham.
UEFA’s cash cow for these minor offences is meanwhile fully functioning. Wonder if they’ll use ‘Celtic escape ban’ as an excuse to have more anti coverage, or will ‘the non story’ just fizzle out
Celtic are ‘ on it’ and use other actual bans of our own.
Re: the smoke bomb fine – would anyone else support the club if they took civil court action to reclaim the costs from the eejit who threw the smoke bomb as a deterrent with the club giving any money re-claimed to charity? Nothing else is working; whilst people can act without consequences they will continue to do so even if it harms their fellow fans.
As for GT, hoping that Sportske is the Croatian equivalent of the daily ranger and the report proves unfounded or that this is GTs agent just applying pressure to negotiations. I’d still like to see him stay but can’t shake the feeling that if we can okay Schlupp’s wages for a stop gap then we’d have him signed up again by now if the manager really wanted him to stay.
If he does go, he has given good service and at ~ £2M compared to what was spent on some other options, has been good value too.
a bit of meaningless news now saying fans can travel to munich after all.
the vast majority of celtic fans who travel there wouldnt have got one of the 3000 or so tickets that munich will he giving celtic so would have been going anyway.
the news is only really relevant to fat cats corporate season ticket holders who get all the tickets, give or take a couple of hundred tickets that will be given to the same season ticket holders as usual.
The new article will be up at noon.

Thanks all for the nice comments.
As usual the nurses and all the team at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy were an inspiration in their endeavour to look after their customers.
It’s always a humbling experience for sure. In on Tuesday night at midnight. Diagnosed early fortunately and operated on, appendix out and out to head home early today. Heading home for a sleep.
Sorry to hear of your childhood experience though Dessybhoy that must have been awful and stressful at that age.
404 error for the new article.
New article up Paul, but a 404 Page Error denied me and others a gold place.
Burnley; bad news on your appendix; as an appendice to that tale, I was rushed in to local hospy in Melbs 12 yrs back with a perforated appendix; bloody sore thing but it healed pretty quick.
Best luck w your recuperation.
