he knows like the rest of us that neymar is a diving runt so i can understand his instinct is to not try that cos he knows neymar will just fall down and get a penalty
but surely making a real attempt to get the ball was the better option?
if he gets the ball hes a hero. if he misses and neymar falls down he gets a yellow card at worst and gives away a penalty which he might save
but him just putting the white flag up to neymar to let him score was the wrong choice
in saying that, the diving rat could have went down when the last defender tried to half him but miraculously stayed on his feet

Two were at Cheltenham and the other was at Doncaster.

I returned a Very Handsome Profit.

Staying in Leeds tonight and so even more desperate to see them ‘coming home’ at around 9pm.
The good omens are decent I was in Leeds when Diego and his hand did for them in 86. I was in Yorkshire when the lost to Italy in the euro final and likewise was in England when they lost in pens to Germany in Italia 90. It’s a great feeling seeing the balloons burst close up and having a wee chuckle to myself. Hopefully tonight adds to it as we add to the exec ever expanding book of English sporting underachievement.

I stand by the comment 100%.
I specifically referenced defence of crosses and stated that we (Celtic) could have halved our European goal concessions if we had been as disciplined.
Neither of the 2 subsequent goals conceded came from crosses or dealt any blow to my observation. Argentina’s 1st was a great slip pass up the middle from Messi (not a cross). The second was a penalty conceded by a careless trip of a player who was struggling to make an effective cross.
Don’t know how you could have misunderstood that unless it was deliberately twisted.
