JURANOVIC ON WAY OUT?

CELTIC’S contract renewal negotiations with Josip Juranovic have not progressed and it looks as though the Croatian right-back will be heading for the Hoops exit.

There WILL be ins and outs in the January transfer window as Ange Postecoglou continues to restrengthen his squad.

It’s now odds on that Juranovic will be on his way – especially if he has a successful World Cup in Qatar.

The 27-year-old defender joined the Hoops in August last year in a bargain £2.5million switch from Legia Warsaw and is under contract until June 2026.

However, there has been no movement in recent talks with the player who was linked with Atletico Madrid in the summer and is allegedly on the radar of Manchester United and Chelsea, according to the Daily Mail.

Postecoglou, speaking at the club’s recent AGM, admitted key players could be sold with fresh blood being introduced.

The Parkhead gaffer said: “If our players do well and move on to so-called greener pastures, if that is what they want, then there is an opportunity for me to improve the team.”

One player already on his way to the champions is J-League central defender Yuki Kobayashi who is ready to team up again with his former Vissel Kobe team-mate Kyogo Furuhashi.
