JULIAN ARAUJO earned the Man of the Match award after his excellent all-round display in Celtic’s 2-0 league win over Falkirk at Parkhead on Sunday.
And the California-born Mexico international right-back, who joined on loan from Bournemouth early in December, is looking to enjoy similar success when he makes his Scottish Cup debut against Dundee tomorrow night at the same venue.
The champions take a break from gathering precious Premiership points to focus on the national competition and Araujo said: “It’s just as important as the league.
“Celtic is a team that wants to win very tournament and we’re going to go out there and obviously play our game style.
“We know that Dundee are going to come and try to break us down, but we have to maintain and stick to our principles.”

ON THE BALL…Julian Araujo beats Hearts striker Claudio Braga in a challenge during Celtic’s 2-2 draw at Tynecastle last month.
The defender is eager to play his part and, speaking to Celtic TV, continued: “Obviously, coming here I was looking forward to getting minutes.
“It’s credit to all the staff, the coaching staff and to my team-mates that they made it very easy to adjust.
“It’s not easy coming to a whole different country without any support on the family side. It’s a whole different culture, but I think it’s been a really easy adjustment.”
Araujo added: “I’m very excited to keep going, it’s a big club, so I’m just happy to be here and to be able to give a little part of what I can do.”
Anthony Ralston played the entire 90 minutes-plus in the previous Cup-tie against Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park where goals from Johnny Kenny, now on loan at Bolton Wanderers, and Sebastian Tounekti saw off the gallant part-timers to book the Hoops’ place in the fourth round.
Now Araujo is gearing up to take over the No.2 position against United in the 5.30pm kick-off.
