The SFA Judicial Panel which disciplined Rangers two weeks ago was independent of the SFA. Tonight’s appellate panel was also independent but as I was reminded tonight, there’s independent and there’s ‘independent’.
Celtic Quick News has cast its share of aspersions in the direction of the SFA in recent years but even President What-school-did-you-go-to? could not spike what appears to be well established processes.
The consequences from tonight’s decision by the SFA appellant panel will run deep for Stewart Regan, and I suspect life would be easier for him if a more accommodating verdict was returned, but the structure he created delivered what he promised. Justice, without fear or favour. Credit where due.

You can write well James, but hyperbole, while at times a useful tool of a scribe, can be dangerous when used thoughtlessly… Read Paul67’s leader again… There is a call for responsibility it seems to me. A wise call. I think of Jardine as woefully misguided, but to refer to him in the way you do…?

Those claiming it is all CW’s fault, pay particular attention to the finding that it only through the actions of CW that RFCia were able to continue in operation until now.
CW may be at fault for many things but RFCia were well and truly liquidation fodder under the reign of SDM (soon to be simply DM I think).
If RFCia had paid their full PAYE and NI contributions, at what point in the season would they have gone into admin and possibly been liquidated already.

i’m going to pick you up on this. he’s not any such thing. I suspect you don’t know him. he’s quite the opposite to your view. i like and respect a lot of what you post, but on this occasion you have gone OTT
he is fighting to save his club. he may have made an error of judgement in some of his comments, but then so have some of us as we express opinions on things we are passionate about.
If everyone at Rangers was as decent as Sandy then they would be a markedly better club than they have been on a number of fronts.
