CELTIC wonderkid Karamoko Dembele was among the goals as the Under-17 team thumped their Ibrox counterparts 5-2 last night.
The 15-year-old midfielder was on target in the Glasgow Cup-tie where the Hoops youngsters were 2-0 ahead after only 10 minutes with goals from Scott Robertson and Paul Kennedy.
However, they were pulled back to 2-2 before Robertson restored the lead just after the hour mark.
Dembele claimed the fourth in the 70th minute before Barry Coffrey completed the rout near the end.
The win puts the Celts into top place in the round-robin group with 10 points from four games, two ahead of Queen’s Park with Sevco Rangers in third with four.
The Parkhead babes have won the trophy in four successive seasons.
