KASPER SCHMEICHEL is on course for a Celtic comeback with the Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen just over two weeks away.
The legendary Danish keeper has missed the last six games after sustaining a shoulder injury playing for his country in March.
Brendan Rodgers is refusing to rush the 38-year-old shotstopper and has praised his stand-in Viljami Sinisalo who has stepped up to answer the SOS.
Schmeichel, who joined the champions in the summer after quitting Anderlecht and signed a 12-month extension in February, is winning his fitness fight, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.
