Kazaks disparage Neil, Celtic preparations. Charlotte Fakes

1247

Shakhter seem convinced they will eliminate Celtic tomorrow.  Their friendly journalist explained why to Kazak readers today:

“Despite winning comfortably enough in the capital last Tuesday, Celtic remain confident of overturning the deficit in Albion (sic).  Getting to the group stage is not a forbidden dream for Shakhter, it is their right as a result of recent domestic success.

“Shakhter have the mining spirit of resilience, respect and strict discipline.  Glasgow also has a long mining tradition but Margaret Thatcher closed the mines in the 1980s (!).  Since then, Glasgow people lost their previous spirit once and for all.

“Neil Lennon was unprepared and the Celtic defenders unable to do the job in Astana.  Just like BATE Borisov, they think they will overcome the result in the second leg.  Just like BATE they are still unprepared for Shakhter.

“Albion’s (sic) best managers are from Glasgow, Busby, Ferguson, Stein, Shankley, Dalglish, Moyes, but the current Celtic leadership chose a man from Ireland, Neil Lennon, who is permanently under fire from fans of the “Celts”.

“Celtic have an epidemic of injuries.  Stokes, Commons, Forrest, Boerrigter, Kayal and Samaras.

“The referee is from Norway.  Scandinavians appreciate a tough fight.  The game is a very sensitive, contact, martial arts sport.  Svein Moen will understand.

“Before the game in Astana Neil Lennon said Shakhter play a very British style.  Why wasn’t he able to find an antidote to this?  Maybe he got Shakhter completely wrong.

“Karagandy’s three central defenders are impenetrable.  They close down space and do not interfere with each other.

“The “Catholics” refuse to acknowledge that Shakhter did not miss a ball against them in the first leg.  They think that because they can from 0-2 down against Inverness they can do the same against Shakhter.  This is unacceptable.  It will seem more absurd if the Miners open their account in Glasgow.

“In defeating BATE, Shakhter have already eliminated a higher seed than Celtic.”

Leave nothing in the dressing room, Celtic.

Charlotte Fakes

When I started Celtic Quick News in 2004 I had neither contacts nor inside information.  I started writing about the accounts, which was hugely consequential but, at the time, largely ignored public information.  Soon after the blog gained some momentum this changed.  People would come to me with information and views which were used to direct articles.

It only took a matter of weeks to go from zero contacts to having a network of people feeding into the blog.

I have no idea how Charlotte Fakes acquired some of her early information but, with doubts over the matter, it is understandable that the media was hesitant at touching it under the shadow of Leveson.

The Charlotte Fakes story has moved on, recent revelations have nothing whatsoever to do with Mr Whyte’s mailbox.  We are now in the territory of cast iron whistle-blower information.  She has her own network of people feeding legally acquired information, which the whistle-blower believes is in the public interest to reveal.

Some people in the game have had their snouts in the trough for so many decades a reservoir of resentment has built up against them among those who were once collaborators but are now cast aside.  You are reading the fruits of this on Charlotte Fakes.

The only question is, while the rest of the world has a new-found appreciation of the value of whistle-blowers, are ‘all the president’s men’ still prepared to look the other way in Scotland?

Are Sevilla FC supporters lefties? I’m asking you because we are discussing the news in the media after Sevilla FC : Slask Wroclaw game in UEFA League.

I won’t write about Slask fans beaten on the streets, attacks on the bus and couple of them still in hospitals.

The bigger scandal is report on their fans website called “Welcome to Katyn”. I don’t know if you are aware, Katyn is the symbol of the martyr here. Katyn is the place where the bolshevicks shot more than 20 000 polish officers, professors, elite in 1940.

Really disgusting. They waved flags with Che Guevarra and flags with red star.

I see their motto is : “Contra el racismo, la repression y el futbol moderno.”

  7. My biggest worry for Wednesday is many on here appear to underestimate THEM!! We have given them a two goal head start and whatever we say they do appear to be drilled and well organised , I think we as supporters are vital to staying with the team if its still 0-0 with say 30 mins to go!! On a personal note of concern am unsure where a minimum of 3 goals will come from as we have been relying on defenders and midfielders recently, Having said that ….keep the faith hail hail!!

It’s hit and miss here whether o’neils show the games. There’s three or 4 pubs, I would go to because they make an effort to accommodate Celtic fans. The Turkish tims in lower Sydenham and the Wimbledon Irish club are the best I’ve found. The white bear is sometimes good. Some fantastic atmospheres in there but there are a few guys more negative than Sydney Tim and Kev jungle put together.

Canny imagine you’d ever get barred from a place. Only joking. Their loss. Hail hail.

I’m guessing they will say that Neil is a “yes man” and will say anything the board tells him. Either that or they’ll say we bid too low for players.

  14. Perhaps I am biased being a Fifer but the mining communities did instil a can-do mentality in the inhabitants, no doubt a reflection on the working conditions of their men-folk who worked in conditions of great adversity where they had to be resilient. So agree with Kazak journo on that one.

As to when the Scottish establishment will stop looking the other way?

Scottish Law Reporter reckons that HMRC have given up with Scotland and want all cases prosecuted south of the border!

Quote: “One tax insider branded the Crown Office handling prosecution as being so bad, that he felt such tax avoidance cases should be prosecuted in England & Wales by the Crown Prosecution Service, writing that the “Scottish Crown Office appeared to be riddled with strutting peacocks”.”

  23. Anyone think that Kayal isn’t actually injured? If he is he should get a hefty slap on the wrists for his tweet.

In a match this important the opposition should be getting as little as possible information about injuries as possible. If players are tweeting their (un)availability it gives a tactical advantage to the opposition.

thanks my friend for reposting after the new article and saving me writing it down and typing it again lol and the fact that it shows we are trying to get players in to the club,i remember garry hooper stating that one of the main reasons he signed was to play in the games v deidco and that was a player from Scunthope,i realy have sympathy for our club trying to get good quality players to improve our stature..thankless task by some. h.h

Hi – am a first time poster on here although I’ve been reading the website on a daily basis for a while now.

I also read the CF twitter feed as well and although insightful and interesting I don’t really see the point in getting excited about it as its not as if anyone at Ibrox or the sfa will be brought to task over some of things that Charlotte has found….or new inquiries to get them kicked out will be set up

Unless of course I’m completely missing something here…..

Regardless of any professed political views, using Katyn as a reference is disgraceful.

My recollection is that Betis were the working class club in Seville while Seville FC was the establishment club in the city. But, I doubt that left-wing politics had much to do with assaulting foreigners.
