JOHNNY KENNY has agreed a season-long loan switch to Championship outfit Queen’s Park.
Celtic’s 19-year-old striker was pursued by several clubs on both sides of the border once boss Ange Postecoglou let it be known he would be willing to allow the Irishman to leave to get game-time.
Kenny, who cost £125,000 when he penned a five-year deal from Sligo Rovers in January, was involved in the champions’ pre-season tour of Austria when he scored two goals in the 7-0 win over Third Division Weiner Viking in the opening game.

Hampden gaffer Owen Coyle won the race when he persuaded the teen ace to join his side in their ambitious push for the top flight.
Postecoglou reckoned Kenny required first-team experience and it was unlikely to be at Parkhead this season with Kyogo Furuhashi and Giorgos Giakoumakis battling for the pivotal attacking role.
The Hoops also have Daizen Maeda who can come in from wide areas to lead the frontline.
