JOHNNY KENNY is firing himself towards a £1million summer exit from Celtic.
The Republic of Ireland international frontman has scored in four consecutive games after joining third-tier Bolton Wanderers on loan in January.
Kenny’s latest strike – his fifth in total – came in the club’s 3-3 draw against Huddersfield Town at the weekend and the 22-year-old hitman is aiming to maintain the sequence when the team travel to Bradford City on Saturday.
Boss Steven Schumacher praised the killer instinct of the Celt when he said in a Scotsman report: “The players have shown time and time again that they don’t give up.
“When you’ve got players such as Johnny Kenny, who have got that moment of magic in them, you’ve always got a chance.”

THE FINAL STRIKE…Johnny Kenny nets in the 2-0 Scottish Cup win over Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park which may turn out to be his last goal for Celtic.
Bolton will need the player to continue producing as they have missed out on their chance of securing an automatic promotion spot.
Lincoln City and David Turnbull’s Cardiff City have taken the two top spots while Schumacher’s team, with two games to play, must navigate the EFL League One play-offs if they hope to return to the second tier for the first time since 2018/19.
Kenny last scored for the Hoops in the 2-0 Scottish Cup win over Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park on January 18 just before the temporary switch.
He claimed six goals in his 22 appearances for the champions prior to his move across the border.
Bolton reportedly made a £500,000 bid for attack-leader in the summer and were told to double the offer to get the deal done.
They returned in the January window to clinch the loan move and are pondering matching the Hoops’ asking price in the summer. Promotion to the Championship would almost certainly seal the switch.
