It is very good news that Kilmarnock fans have voted to give Celtic three stands for next weekend’s game which will see the league title won if Celtic earn a point. As a result, several thousand more Celtic fans will be able to attend the game and avoid listening to their club being belittled as they watch ESPN.
I hope Neil Lennon continues to speak in forthright terms when his team is undermined.

Aye but there’s a fair amount of ingenuity in D & D’s “liquidation” musings. They seem to think that the club, the holder of the league share, can be disentwined from the current company, which er…holds the league share. It would, by definition, require the approval of the SPL board to approve a “new” club’s entry to the league. It wouldn’t be Rangers as we know it. They would literally have borrowed and spent every penny they could lay their hands on, cut every corner, dodged every regulation, just to keep up with us. And went bust. kaput. Finished.

I thought that Killie’s home game against them on the last day of last season devalued the SPL. Of course it was worse then because the cheats needed to win to clinch the title, whereas our match there on Saturday in not a title decider.
But a home game should not be turned into an away game for financial gain. They are another badly run club and we are helping them, while they rip off the Celtic supporters.
In every way it is a bad advertisement for the SPL.
