Killie dividend for torturous ESPN attacks

1056

It is very good news that Kilmarnock fans have voted to give Celtic three stands for next weekend’s game which will see the league title won if Celtic earn a point.  As a result, several thousand more Celtic fans will be able to attend the game and avoid listening to their club being belittled as they watch ESPN.

I hope Neil Lennon continues to speak in forthright terms when his team is undermined.

  10. This takes me back to a visit to hooters in Baltimore before a Ravens game, 1 guy got a cake and all the girls came round to wish him happy birthday, with a song and a kiss etc, for the next couple of hours there were another 5 or 6 so called birthdays! They had to start asking people for ID to prove it was there birthday.

not that am saying, just that it reminded me.

    Happy bday

  13. I’ll eat my ‘oh so trendy’ Donegal tweed bunnet if they are liquidised on Friday or before that even. I think this is going to drag on for a bit yet. The mortally wounded Hun are more slippery than an oiled eel and D&D twist and turn like a twisty turney thing. I will not believe they are dead until i witness their cold bluish grey carcass being devoured by carrion birds.

  16. It might not be Friday as the butchers fae Bridgeton are due to pay in the takings from the sponsored square slice campaign they were running. That should boost the coffers.

Paul67 – It’s a champion gesture by Kille fans and Kilmarnock FC.

It’s also in their club’s self-interest to maximise the revenue from this game, but some of their season ticket holders might otherwise have been tempted to vote against giving up their seats, perhaps out of dislike of Celtic or stubborn unwillingness to accommodate opposition supporters in a possible title party at their home.

Over 92% of them voted in favour, a lot of Scottish clubs in their position might not have been so gracious or generous.

I’m not going to talk about doubts and confusion.

We just need to win. (thumbsup)
