HOLDERS Celtic’s Viaplay League Cup last-16 match against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park will be televised live.
Brendan Rodgers will take his squad to Ayrshire for the tie on Sunday August 20 with a 3pm kick-off and the tournament sponsors and stallite broadcasters will beam the match live.
It’s an action replay of last season’s semi-final in the same competition when the Hoops triumphed 2-0 on a rain-lashed evening at Hampden in January.
Daizen Maeda claimed the breakthrough goal before Giorgos Giakoumakis, with his last strike for the club, made certain in stoppage-time.
Two goals from Kyogo Furuhashi guided the team to a 2-1 victory in the Final over Michael Beale’s Ibrox side the following month.
In the event of a draw after the regulation 90 minutes, extra-time will be played and penalty-kicks if necessary to decide who goes through.
