Again,this pitch is horrendous.Especially when wet.We are not doing enough up front.I know it’s not easy,but,let’s hope half time helps.
We scored by turning their defense with a quick attack – but it’s the slow slow build up again
Usual start, possession, half chances, goal from spark of individual brilliance, and yet no sense that Celtic are really in control of the game

Notice when Eddie scores big grin. Compare and contrast with buffalo who would be growling at the home crowd.
The first 45 has shown that we’re still extremely dependent on Eddie making things happen up front.
An second half goal will hopefully allow us to give Polish Patrick a run out and rest Eddie.
They don’t look like scoring but an early second will make for a comfortable second half.
Kind of what I was expecting rather than what I was hoping for . Too passive , too pedestrian . Killie are hopeless but I think Don Robertson could yet be dangerous unless we put this game away with another couple of goals . Robertson has just shown one or two wee flashes of what he could do.
We just don’t seem to put SPFL fodder to the sword the way we used to . Like to see us step it up second half.
Good first half. We look comfortable in the 3-5-2. Wee Frimpong hogging the line playing very wide, and 1 pass was cut out and they broke up the field and nearly scored, so need to tighten that up a bit but I do like our approach to the game. Killie sitting awfully deep so not easy to create the space, but more should open up second half. I also like Hayes defensively as LWB as he clears the ball well, get back quickly and is robust in the challenges, however his crossing from offensive positions needs improvement. Need to kill this early doors.

Deservedly ahead, Edouard class the difference and he needs to take control of the free kicks especially when they fall on his side.
Would like to see Klimala and or Arzani but expect two more goals for the good guys minimum.

And against better teams, or with the input of the referee as a leveller, it’s too tight. It shouldn’t be.
