Listen to Walker in any other game, English or Scottish, if a player makes a meal of a tackle he ALWAYS says that’s their job and they’re entitled to do it. Tonight though is the first time ever he didn’t say that. He just wanted to forensically investigate it. When it suits the narrative……

Albian Ajeti – got 90 mins, with a goal and and an assist – again for me keep playing him to get fully match fit, he will be our main striker next season

still the same defensive frailties when the ball is sent into our box from set pieces , we are definitely not set up to defend properly at set pieces.
Walker , Crocker and especially fat Boyd (teed up by the wee lassie) decide do their best to take any credit away from Celtic .

Some periods of good play with crisp passing. A clean sheet and four goals scored. I’m happy with that.
That Livi team are in a right good run. Our wee team and our big team seem to be the only ones to prevent them from winning recently. Good luck to them I say.

Much more composed display tonight compared to NB and SD of recent vintage.
SB / GK — needs to take a back seat.

I’m not getting into one of your semantic debates.
Having quickly skimmed over the blog after the game, I noticed a couple of contributors commented that there were elements of the performance to take issue with, and inferring that in the wider scheme of things it’s the stable door being bolted after the horse has bolted. Metaphorically.
Those comments appeared to my mind at least to have been criticised on the basis that tonight’s performance was worthy of less critical evaluation.
To my mind, that’s overrating the performance tonight.
You may differ.
I commented earlier on what I felt were the positives and negatives of tonight’s performance which was a massive improvement on recent weeks. I think some perspective is healthy. I look forward to a repeat on Saturday.

Personally ive been critical of Ajetis all round play which to me is obviously down to his fitness.but cant deny most of goals have been good strikers finishes.so get this guy fit ..he still needs to lose s few pounds aswell and we might have our pen box striker.

I love Eddy and I know he scored 2 goals tonight ……but……
I wish he would concentrate more in finding the back of the net than in doing fancy tricks .
Don’t get me wrong , I like fancy tricks but I feel Eddy could double his goals tally if he didn’t spend so much time trying to dance through an entire defence before losing the ball .
