  1. 4-0 on that pitch I will take all day long.

Well done Bhoys, 4-0 going on 6.

  2. Celtic set off down the Kilmarnock road, to recovery with a win better Celtic sides have had to dig deep to get, for years in darkest Ayrshire. Neil Lennon’s side playing better away from Paradise is perverse, and was only blotted by the usual asinine Sky commentary.

One touch passing, and some balance restored at full back Jonjoe Kenny seemed to find the by-line more often in the first twenty minutes, than we had previously, this year.

Too many touches aside, Scott Brown angled a rare Heineken header into the corner where Doyle was always going to be unable to reach, and the skipper’s delight bulged nearly as much as the net. Celtic on easy street, Turnbull , McGregor, and Eddy all threatened to extend our lead. Kris Ajer romped through the gears back in his proper position and Stephen Welsh was there alright, but not making mistakes at the back, Celtic looked more like ten changes, than four from Saturday.

Artic cold conditions help prevent the spotting of Ajeti, till he was up ended by Doyle much to the chagrin of the two Killie pies, in commentary. Albian wasn’t even afforded Andy Pandy’s obligatory ‘ he’s got every right to go down if he feels contact ‘ not so much as a ‘seen them given ‘ from the Cambuslang curmudgeon. Eddy slotted anyway, all academic the same as when Sky deemed his other goal offside, because Andy says it was.

They then spent most of the rest of the second half calling Celtic goals not, and Killie misses goals, they bemoaned their own lack of technology which would only have proved that the big ‘blown up?’ ball shaped thing on the goal line, didn’t even come close to crossing. Clean sheet and Scott Brown escaped token Tim Clancy, not sure about those unlikable types Dicker, and Power.

Another Ajeti goal of substance saw the ‘fit again’ striker take a sublime first touch to then stroke the ball past the onrushing keeper, job done, bring on the Well.

you are 100% bang on with that comment, well called sir

  4. No Bobby Does It Petta on

Enjoyed the game. Great result at a notoriously difficult venue.

Lots of endeavor all over the pitch. Much better attitude, too.

    MOTM? Scott Brown.

    HH.

  5. James Forrest @ 10.50…you are better than that…dissect and trash the post you disagree with, not the poster…poor show of form from you

  6. Was really pleased to see us keep going at 3-0 and after subs came on

Gave Ajeti a goal and probably a boost of confidence.

Thought Bain handled the corners well too.

Going to my bed happier than of late

    Goodnight all,

  7. Certainly an improvement need to keep playing Stephen Welsh, good to see the strikers scoring goals and a clean sheet as well. I liked the right back he will help steady us for the rest of the season.

    Hail Hail.

  8. Thanks for the match breakdowns folks. Can’t always get the midweek games on CelticTV as eh, people put meetings on my calendar.

What happened with RC and SB at end?

  9. AIPPLE…am no saying till you split yer Gamestop gains with me…ps…never saw it but was between NL and SB ;-))

  10. Well what do I know?

I predicted we’d get beat tonight as I didn’t see us being up for a fight so what a pleasant surprise that performance was.

Even the biased ****s on Sky couldn’t spoil it for me but it just makes it all the more difficult to comprehend what has actually happened to us this season.

It’s hard to make sense of events either on or off the pitch but we have committed the football equivalent of Hari Kari that’s for sure. Ah well, what might have been…

    GNGB

  11. James Forrest sorry, but i fear you’ ve lost all self-awareness.

The post by Burnley is reasonable. Your response is well over the top, so much so it tells us more you than Burnleys post ever could.

Reading your post, I thought it could easily be described as how you treat those who don’t agree with your views. It’s a post from someone losing control.

    On a night Celtic won…..

Well played good sir. Going to switch the laptop to UK mode and catch Sports Scene.

Ps. I had 6 and they have gone!

  13. Am guessing…Lenny was wanting vindication from Broonie for starting him and Broonie is still pissed off that he hasn’t started more often…ie a clash of egos

  14. AIPPLE…are u saying RobinHood stole them…there’s a class action suit been launched by peeps in your situation…u should look into it

    H.H.

  15. THELURKINTIM

Ditched them at $350. Robinhood (unaware of the irony of their name) should have and could have handled this better.

  16. New Year secret records have been picked up by SKY.

tthat the ball did not hit BFDJ hand , it was his knee.

    Roy Aitken stole a shy.

6 of the 7 goals in 57 were offside and the other one was not a penalty.

The Coronation cup, the exhibition trophy, the victory in europe cup, the 1919 cup stole back again,

well celtic were illegal immigrants and not entitled to participate,

    campaign to hand them back.

  17. I took it that Brooney, given our overall situation is so bad, felt it was not appropriate to be high fiving after a win, and I think that he was 100% correct.

  20. THELURKINTIM

    Thank you!

Nice technique from DT for his narrow miss in first half. Class.

Great run from SB to find space and drive that header home.

    It was a penalty.

Bain kept it out, wasn’t over the line.

Eddie second was cheeky, nice and onside.

Ajeti, happy for him. Strong striker play, play him.

  21. Magnificentseven. Are you happy that we were humiliated in the champions league and Europa league. Humiliated by Ross County in the league cup at home. Outplayed by St Mirren at Celtic Park. 20;points behind the huns in January. If so. Whoopee. I’m not and no amount of meaningless wins when it doesn’t matter will change that. As I said to Nick earlier if that makes you happy well fair play to you.

  22. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    St Stivs – nice one.

    Truth presented as parody.

A real shame that the orchestrated souring of the milk by the SMSM every time Celtic win is repeated and amplified on here.

Qualifications, ah buts, insinuations of luck.

    All part of the plan.

    All diffused successfully.

Don’t like what Boyd is saying?

Can I let you in to a secret?

    Sshh?

    Promise not to tell?

He’s paid to say things that upset you !

(They’ve done their market research and found the perfect O*d F**m balance).

They’ll maximise subscriptions from Jock land by simultaneously servicing

    – Sevco fans sense of superiority AND

    – a section of Celtic fans willingness to accept indignation as part of the viewing experience

    You’re being played. Beautifully.

Tactical solution – press the mute button.

Strategic solution – stop contributing to their wages.

We scored four. We conceded zero.

It was a good night’s work.

    Hail hail

  23. Just watched Ralph Hasenhuttl interview after his kids lost 9-0 to Man Utd. Felt for the guy.

Fitba eh? Emotions, rolling over, 5 elevener is it? Jumpers for goalposts, summer skies with a bleeding sun and the ice cream van song coming over the hill. Street lights on, time to go home. Replay tomorrow.

    HH all.

    ——————–

No win is meaningless. Some of the playrs will still be aorund hopefully after the summer clearout. They need to build up confidence and keep motivated. WIns help with that.We now need to look forward and yes that inlcudes a raft of changes from top down. But for the moment let us revel in wins.

  25. TURKEYBHOY on 2ND FEBRUARY 2021 9:36 PM

“Mikey Johnston gets 20 odd mins to come on and show something.Instead, fan dances around on the periphery of the game.Should have been busting a gut.”

Agreed. I think fans might be surprised by the lack of application of some players in training and perhaps it’s the main reason they don’t get regular games. Ralston may be in that category. When they do get a game they let the chance slip. Celtic has a history of this kind of player. I suppose all clubs do.

  26. The goal on the park is to achieve Champions League football for our rebuild next season.

A good solid step in that direction last night.

    HH.

  27. Good morning cqn from a very cold but snow free Garngad

Whilst that was a bit better last night, we have to remember the opposition, Kilmasonic are club in just as much turmoil as us, they sit 4th bottom with a huge goal against column.

As I say it was better from us and we can hopefully build on that (ffs its February) and I am talking about building on a win. SHAMBLES

We still need a new management team and the sooner the better.

Lenny is talking about players still no being fit in feckin February. Wow.

Bring on Murderwell and the player picking Roulette wheel and more excuses from a man way out of his depth, who quite frankly looks as though he doesn’t give a flying f#$k.

    D :)

  28. By the way is Mikey Johnston a central Midfielder as that’s were I though he came on and ran about.

Does anyone know what position he came on to cover.

    D :)

  29. The hand of God on

A decent win last night which keeps us ahead in the race for 2nd place but the frailties are still there,Rossi could have scored 3 last night from corners and Taylor did really well to prevent Burke scoring early on.Was good to see 3 goals for the strikers and some nice one touch football leading up to the miskick from Eddy.My hope is that the board have sourced a new manager with the profile of an O’Neill or Rodgers and are going to announce it a day or 2 before season ticket renewals arrive with NFL having been told that his rolling contract wont be renewed. The alternative that Neil is going to be the manager for next year is unthinkable.

  30. Back to the game… Lovely 4 goals… Quite surprised… But take it all day long…

But I have to be honest……. Ajer and Walsh is not the answer…… I thought we really struggled in the air at the back……. Declan Gallagher is giving me the fear for sat
