    In that first half we handled the pitch better than Killie even though they play on it every other week .

     

     

    Second half the surface seemed to bother us more as the crisp passing and control deteriorated .

    It’s funny how Steven Thompson is described on Shortbread’s website as a ‘former Scotland striker’ whereas Peter Grant is described as a ‘former Celtic player’. Is that so we don’t think to ask why so many hvns are given the right (at the license payer’s expense) to comment on our game?

    My Jobo 3 were Iwata, O’Riley and Taylor but though not Carl & Koybashi played well together, obviously CCV is out number one centre half but thought the two of them played decent today

    After Clancy’s giving fouls to our opposition last week, the ref. does exactly the same this week and nearly always about 18 yards out from our goal. Are they being schooled in this I ask? Was hoping one of the ghuys given to statistical analysis would come on and tell us the percentage of fouls for and against. Got that and it leads me to question what is going on. Of course, only needing seven points should make it difficult for the “neutral referees” to gain points for the runners up.

    I agree 100% with your thoughts on the free kick issue.

     

    Basically only tactic opponents gave is to draw free kicks in our half to launch high balls into our box and refs always willing to help.

     

     

    Our players need to be aware of this.

    Agreed . And as we saw today , a foul does not even have to be committed for a free kick to be given .

     

     

    Any kind of challenge in the ‘danger area’ gives the referee the opportunity he is looking for .

    Anybody else notice the footage of the Celtic technical area after the penalty award? In the background you could see a number of Killie fans edging along their rows towards the exit.

     

     

    There was a young guy standing with his back to the camera pointing at them and giving them a mouthful for walking out on their team.
