Full time at the cantilever bowl.

Midtable team 1 bottom of league team 0

That was a very far cry from our title clinching performance of last season, which proved that it is possible to play decent football on that surface . For some reason it seemed even worse than usual today , but then so was our performance ,so I’m just glad to get back up the road with 3 points .

Between Killie’s ‘robust’ approach , Welsh’s lax interpretation of the rules, and an anti-football surface ,we witnessed all that is ugly in Scottish football .

  3. That was a rather DICEY Performance…and although Kilmarnock played well, I would suggest that is due to that CRAP Surface, which led to several celtic players being off form.

We rode our luck on a few occasions to be honest, but Big KASPER was excellent. He was easily our best player today.

I had hoped during a poor 1st half show from Celtic, that Brendan would make at least Two substitutions at HALF

    TIME ?

In particular Engels and Idah looked way off it during the 1st half.

I am just grateful to get outta there with the 3 Points today.

wangers have scraped past hertz 1 0

    ………..

I watched the whole game and Hearts were the better team in the 2nd half….Now IF only they had a Goal Scorer in their ranks ?

  5. Good result against an organised team on a shit surface.

However, once again I’m embarrassed at a small minority of our support who simply cannot keep their ignorant mouths shut for 60 seconds. Really sickens me. Do these idiots not know that Celtic supporters and Celtic players even, gave their lives for this country.

To these clowns, I suggest they go and support another team, they are certainly not welcome here

What a fekkin shower , honestly

  8. statement time.

They wrote: “In 1917, following his bloody rule in Ireland, Arthur Balfour gifted the country of Palestine to the Zionist movement.

“This set in motion the establishment of the racist state of Israel in 1948 and 76 years of brutal murder, ethnic cleansing and occupation of the indigenous Palestinian people.

“In 2024, Keir Starmer continues this bloody British legacy by committing genocide in Palestine through direct military assistance, arms exports and diplomatic cover to the illegitimate state of Israel.

“Today, on Armistice Day, we highlight the hypocrisy and shame of the British establishment and others who selectively mourn the loss of life and fail to support an armistice to the ongoing genocide in Palestine.”

  9. On Whatsapp today with a group of 11.Not one, after the game, thought Scales had a good game.Personally,I thought he was bullied all over the park,by Vassell. Not picking on the guy,I like him,but I know he is a favorite on here with a few so I will leave it there on Scales.

For me,Kasper, and Kuhn for his superb goal, the only ones with pass marks.

    No problem,euro hangover,shit pitch,caber tossing opponent,bogey ground.Result was everything.

A wee break, then show the Jambo’s how we really play.

  10. Oh,as has been reported by the solemn media of a solemn nation, today,Armistice Day,

Princess Kate wore a chic, two piece black creation.Solemnly.

    Whit ?

  12. It looks like that is how they’ll be for the foreseeable big jimmy – there’s no sign of momentum. Aberdeen the challenger now.

  13. !!Bada Bing!! on @5:37pm

That prk Crocker apologised for the moments silence ,his job is to be neutral, BTW, I don’t hear him apologise for the Billy Boys at every live Sevco game

    …………………………………

The Poppy day cheap masonic ritual stunt which wasn’t brought into football stadiums until Celtic fans accepted being wrongly smeared for not observing Ibrox disaster 1 minutes silence protocols….Leckie of the Sun saying that “Celtic fans coughed their way through the 1 minute silence”… Keevins on SSB saying “Celtic fans observation of the 1 minutes silence was beyond impeccable. Those saying differently have an agenda against Celtic fans.”

And during those days the fans just like today have no one to present Celtic fans with a way out of these 2 traps.

    1. Poppy day 1 minute silence.

    2. Ibrox disaster 1 minutes silence.

How about putting the actual truth on the table for a change?

If a club is too timid to sign a 1st team player with the Kevin name because its too Timmy, then how do we get them to front up and talk some truth?

And the truth is – November the 11th is a masonic ritual.

    11th minute – 11th Hour – 11th Day. = 3 x 11 = 33 = 33 degree masonic ritual.

Or mass psychosis just like the plandemic for the virus which was so severe you had to be tested to see if you had it which majority of folk didn’t.

So big Pharma brought out new testing kits with a 97% false positive rating to give the media and degenerate krankie etc some fake figures to propagandize behind and terrify folk to get vaxxeenated – sadly most folk are still brainwashed by the media no matter how much evidence is presented to people if they don’t see your evidence being read out by the BBC then the majority of folk don’t believe it.

Maybe wee should get Brendan the Poppy bhoy to present the case of the above masonic ritual to the media tomorrow or when we start back?

  14. Big Jimmy.

Watched the second half of huns game and I agree that Hearts were by far the better team. Shankkkand is a disgrace for a professional footballer as he never tries a leg against his favourite team. Hearts would be better dropping him as he is worse than a nan short against them.

    It’s a football match.

There should be no commemoration for anything other than ex players, or club officials…. and if we are commmmorating, it should be applause.

We are in this quagmire every year.

Remembrance has been hijacked by the government to suggest tacit support for all the illegal wars.

Being asked to consent by our silence.

    No thank you.

If anyone is so enraged about non observance of a minute silence for armistice, I would ask why are they at a football stadium?

They should be at a church service or at a war memorial.

If football is scheduled on Remembrance Sunday

let us get on with the football

A good few years agp , an old WW2 veteran was asked by Niki Campbell if he would be attending the wreath laying at the cenotaph.

His answer surprised the radio host

    ” No!

I’ll remember my palls in my own way,

the cenotaph is just politicians doing show business:”

    “Story”, “Glory”

Reminded me of the last stanza of Dulce Et Decorum Est

(Which, BTW, was written by a poor bugger who was on the front line)

“My friend, you would not tell with such high zest

To children ardent for some desperate glory,

The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est

    Pro patria mori.”

Note the capitalising of “Lie”, Owen turns it into a proper noun to highlight the deliberate deception.

  17. Hey Gerry, the Armistance was for 11.00 am not 11.11., so one part of your 11s is missing. Does this matter in your working out

  18. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

“If anyone is so enraged about non observance of a minute silence for armistice, I would ask why are they at a football stadium?

They should be at a church service or at a war memorial.”

Nice try but, IMHO, you’ve got it the wrong way round.

    Try this ….

If anyone is so enraged at a minute silence for armistice, I would ask why are they at a football stadium?

They should be at a demonstration instead of anonymously hiding behind Celtic Football Club.

  19. Back to basics..

Using that logic…( to the extreme)…

If the Orange Order organise a parade around the ground before kick off at a Celtic away game…

We should show our disapproval by leaving the stadium and demonstrating somewhere else?

  20. Apart from anything else…

The Tuesday night silence shows why we should not be doing any of them.

    Champions League

Before a game the announcer builds up the atmosphere, Celtic songs through the Tannoy, singer on the sidelines,

Let’s make some noise for the Bhoys

    The atmosphere builds,

    The teams comes out

    Zadoc the Priest

    Bedlam in the stands..

We’re ready, we’re intimidating the visitors , they can’t hear themselves think, they can’t communicate with each other, they’ve never experienced this…..

“Before we start can we all observe a minutes silence for…

We just let all of the air out of the balloon.

And we leave the silence to anyone of 60,000 who wants to make a point.

    Mental.

  21. Good result on the lino…….

…………..easy to slip-up on that tragic carpet.

Only saw the game thru the eyes of Shorties updates – how huuned=up was that!!??

    Pet Navan’s a nugget.

We had no choice about having the silence on Tuesday.

It was a UEFA decision that there would be a minute of silence at all their games during the week.

  23. My mums brother was killed in WW2

I observe it, people have the choice …That’s the way it should be…

  24. GaryG

    Agreed

I’m just pointing out how inappropriate it is to do it just before a game of football.

When we immediately forget the people tge silence was for

It’s like going to a wake house and saying

    ” Sorry for your loss,… where’s the sandwiches ?

  25. ● Question put to me last night●
