Timely link to a very good piece of writing from Samira Shackle. The article generated some powerful letters, published in the Guardian of Saturday 9 November. Including one from Albert Beale, of Kings Cross, London who pointed out that;
“For a very long time now, most victims in most wars have been civilians. The military – on all sides – are not unique in their in their suffering; but they are unique in being the ones causing the suffering”
The UN reported that 70% of all victims in Gaza have been women and children. They are not the victims of a “defence force” but rather of the Israeli Armed Forces which, again as reported by the UN is committing War Crimes in that part of Palestine. I doubt that the IDF paused the killing for two minutes yesterday.

There are various opportunities to show your political belief in support of Palestine
I get why people use Celtic Football Club it gives a platform for the message
It’s my view that by magnifying the view of some (not necessarily the majority) you dilute the reputation of our Football Club
More you give oxegyn to those that want to discredit Celtics good name
It will never happen but I would be interested to know the results of a questionnaire to all Season Ticket holders before the game on on Sunday
