Matthews replacing El Kaddouri at RB? I don’t get it, Neil. You’re disrupting an effective partnership in Matthews and Forrest. Cha with Forrest are both very attacking, with Forrest less certain about where to place himself as Cha bombs forward. Meanwhile, Matthews/Ledley means we will see yet another new combination down the left side – the dragon’s flank?
Still think Zaluska should be 1st choice and nothing will persuade me otherwise.
Dan and Mulgrew have their frailties but they’re probably the best two for this game – just get the ball out and let the midfielders do the passing. Hooper/Stokes are the only choice – makes so much sense even Kojo can’t put it into words – and the midfield two, while not ideal, should control the game.
In all likelihood we will concede today. I’m going for a nervy 2-1.
BSR – I would have started him. We need to start building some consistency into our selections. It still smacks of the manager not having an idea about his best eleven, 3 months into the season.
The huns have turned a weakness (squad depth) into a strength.

Do we really need four defenders on the bench?

Would be nice if Mr P67 could clean up the blog for match day comments. Get rid of all the ciggy ads and CQN magazine promos that clutter up my screen
Looks a better team with kyal Lesley and stokes back in
Clean sheet plus a few goals please

the team criticism can wait, the selection has been made. However three centre backs on the bench if you include Vic?? and no Paddy , is he injured again?
Indeed sadly I agree, NL fields another experiment.
We’ll do it the Barca way bombing forward, the only thing on our side is the law of averages.

Even though I don’t agree with the full-back selections, that team should be good enough to win this game comfortably.
Time to restore some much needed confidence Celtic.
Mon the Hoops.

Team selection light in midfield away from home with Forrest and Ki not good at the defensive side of the game
Stokes and Hooper given the opportunity to shoot Celtic the 3 points, no excuses today
Injuries and suspensions still having an effect on players available,
