King demotivates ahead of semi

386

I suppose we should thank Dave King for starting the week of the Scottish Cup semi-final between Celtic and Newco with a statement discussing the Newco manager’s position, “on the managerial front I emphasise that the board fully recognises the need for sustained stability in this area of the club.

“Whoever is appointed must be able to meet the unique challenges of managing Rangers [sic.] and ensuring immediate success.”

The last thing a manager wants ahead of a big game is discussions about his position from his chairman.  Poor Graeme is a lame duck and no one in his squad will be under any doubt about this after today.

Celtic got past 10-man Hamilton in a pedestrian manner yesterday, but must now up their pace ahead of the semi-final.  Last month we talked about the Morton Scottish Cup quarter-final being more important than the trip to Ibrox a week later.  By any measure, Sunday’s semi is one of the biggest games of the season.

A lack of concentration (as we saw yesterday) or a few mistakes and all the good work put into winning a consecutive treble will be undone.  We struggled against this lot at Celtic Park in December and needed heroics to beat them at Ibrox last month.  We have been unable to boss them the way we did last season, or in our visit to Ibrox in September.

In short, if you think we have a God given right to reach the final, you are wrong.  We should be grateful for any demotivational Dave King mutterins going.

  1. DD The South Arican Based Criminal is just playing the KKK at the bigot dome for their season ticket cash, I have a feeling that Murty will be there next year, but the criminal needs the KKK cash, then he will spin some pish, and the gullabilly/goldfish supporters will believe him and so it starts again….. A-holes the lot of them

Hamilton game was very poor,no doubt the pitch was a main factor.

If however you were a visitor on Holiday wanting to see a much sought after Centre Forward then you would have been impressed with Hamiltons one man forward line who put our back 3 ,yes 3,under pressure the entire game, and scored.

Compare and contrast to ” Big Game ” Dembele, his major memorable moment being in the first minute when he missed a one on one,and thereafter dis-appeared.

We cannot afford to play anyone who is not fully switched on and we should not be selecting in the hope its going to be a day he turns up.

For me and others who attend and pay good money, every game is a ” Big Game ” where Celtic are concerned, players who do not understand what it means to play for Celtic and recognise the National rejoicing in the event of a reversal, are no use to this Club.

To be fair to Moussa, being a centre forward behind a wall of 10 opposition players, our tippy tappy ponderous build up play and our failure to stick the ball in the box…oh and our crap corners…and free kicks…..

I think Henke would have looked AWOL with that around him..

A wee component of the lack of form might be the number of players we have brought in on the promise that they are given a platform to impress the rich clubs in the EPL, so team play suffers as players use the club to do exactly what they were offered, display their own talents, not make other players look good, so a shit shot that might go in is more valuable than an assist.

She has great empathy for the long suffering Palestinian people and is generally a very tolerant peace loving kind of Dog.

However she has no time for vegetarians, indeed she once told me over a late night glass of Rioja that vegetarians should be banned.

I was amazed. Imagine that,A dog talking and drinking wine and discussing politics

    Canamalar doesnt really exist.

There is a basement in Siberia where 25 young Russians are doing community service by hacking this site with pro Russian propaganda.

Canamalar is actually an acronym for a secret Russian programme to destabilise western society. Thats the truth

Now there’s a surprise, the guy who will listen and put money on what little birdies tell him is amazed when a dug talks, as for drinking wine they’ll eat anything so that’s no big deal really. While discussing politics might have been a surprise I expect sniffing each other’s arses might not really count.

  20. There are plenty of winners in the Syrian conflict and every other conflict zone on the planet! They are called arms manufacturers, arms dealers and shareholders, who tend to be wealthy politicians. There’s no point in having a product if you can’t shift it so why not “employ” a few people to make sure your product is essential.

These people have no conscience their god is money, end of. So what if a few hundred thousand or a million people, many of them women and children, die? It’s good for business.

I know it is un-Christian of me but I would round up everybody who knowingly makes money out of the arms industry and put them into a field to personally experience their own products.
