Ki possesses excellent technique and can cover 50 yards as quickly as anyone at Celtic but he often failed to impose himself on games. Selling a reserve player with 15 months left on his contract for a fee of around £6m is truly remarkable. I am one of the players many admirers but I don’t know anyone who would pay anything like that money for him.

I hope we have a big sell on clause in Ki’s contract..yet again we didn’t get the best out the player. Sorry to see him go, I’d have sold 3-4 before him but clearly contract running down, player wants more 1st team action and now has a chance to show in a big window.

celtic have done a good bit of business with ki being sold for 6.3 million.
looks like some of the young players will get a chance tomorrow, would like to see watt and ibrahim get a start, fillip tw as well, if fit, maybe young fraser on the bench.
know we have a few injuries, but i think we have enough good young players to cope, i dont want any squad fillers bought this season, either we are signing firs team players i.e. centreback or no one, dont see the point in spending millions on second string players after spending the whole of pre-season emptying about 11 of them.
