KOLO TOURE ACCEPTS IVORIAN POST

KOLO TOURE has been appointed assistant manager to the Ivory Coast Olympic team to end speculation he might return to Celtic.
The 36-year-old international centre-half, who won 120 caps for his nation, made 17 appearances as the Hoops completed the majestic clean sweep of domestic silverware last season.
Toure left at the end of his one-year deal, but was linked with the opportunity of a player/coach position at Parkhead.
However, spent the close season in his homeland working with his national squad.The veteran will also help with coaching duties of the Ivorian Under-23 team.

Brendan Rodgers took the popular centre-back to Glasgow after his ex-player had been released by the Anfield side last summer.
