KRAMER CHOOSES FEYENOORD

DUTCH striker Michiel Kramer, who was on Celtic’s radar, has agreed a three-year deal with Feyenoord.

Ironically, the ADO Den Haag frontman became a replacement target after former Hoops loan star John Guidetti snubbed a return to the Rotterdam outfit to join Celta Vigo in the summer.
The SPFL champions watched the 26-year-old frontman in the pre-season friendlies against Greek side Veria and Spanish side Mallorca.
However, Kramer admitted his wish was to join his boyhood favourites Feyenoord.
He was the Eredivisie’s third top scorer last season with 17 goals and was attracting attention from Championship sides Sheffield Wednesday, Brentford and Charlton.
The De Kuip outfit ended speculation and have agreed to pay £1.5million for the player after a week of negotiations between the two sides.
Celtic may well be holding their fire with regard to strengthening the striking department depending on whether the club can get past Malmo and into the Champions League group stages.
