A TEARFUL Kieran Tierney issued a massive thank-you to Celtic for “a touch of class” following Arsenal’s dramatic 2-1 FA Cup Final victory over 10-man Chelsea.

The former Hoops’ fans’ favourite celebrated his first season at the London outfit with a hard-earned Wembley triumph against Frank Lampard’s Stamford bridge side.

Mikel Arteta’s Emirated side team came from a goal behind to turn their fortunes around to lift the trophy for a record-breaking 14th time.

A double from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang overturned Christian Pulisic’s opener.

A post on Celtic ‘s official Twitter account read: “Congratulations @kierantierney1 from everyone at #CelticFC #FACupFinal”

And the Scotland international left-back replied: “Thank u so much. Touch of class”

Tierney left the champions last summer in a £25million switch to become the most expensive Scottish player in history.

After struggling with a shoulder injury, the 23-year-old edged back to his more recognised form when he returned from the four-month lockdown.
