KIERAN TIERNEY is in line to return to the Celtic line-up against Livingston at Parkhead this afternoon.

The Hoops defender sat out the 2-0 midweek win over St Mirren in Paisley after limping off during the second-half of last week’s 2-1 triumph over Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit.

Callum McGregor moved to left-back in a makeshift back-four against the Govan side with Mikael Lustig taking over from the injured Dedryck Boyata in the middle of the rearguard and substitute Jeremy Toljan moving to the No.2 position.

Honduran international Emilio Izaguirre was a direct replacement against the Saints and put in an impressive 90 minutes.

Fans’ favourite Tierney has missed a chunk of this campaign with a calf problem, but it was cramp that forced him off during Sunday’s powderkeg Glasgow derby.

The champions, zeroing in on their eighth successive title, can move SIXTEEN points clear at ther top of the Premiership if they beat Gary Holt’s outfit.

If Gerrard’s team lose to Motherwell at Fir Park tomorrow and the Hoops don’t slip up today, the championship will be secured.

Livi made certain of a place in the top flight next season following their 2-0 win against relegation-threatened Hamilton Accies on Wednesday.
