Kyogo confidence returns

150

Two corner kicks within 5 minutes midway through the second half put Celtic out of St Johnstone’s reach yesterday.  Both corners were taken short, passed to the edge of the box, before the ball was returned behind the defensive line.  It looks like a training ground set-piece strategy, which delivered.

A second straight 4-0 win, albeit over weaker opposition like Motherwell and St Johnstone, confirms an end to Celtic’s poor run of form, which saw draws at Zagreb, Hampden and Tannadice.  Maybe we just have better sports scientists, but the team look rested and ready for each game.

Kyogo will not score an easier goal than the header he put into an empty net from 1 yard out on 59 minutes.  Our key striker has looked short of confidence for some time, but that easy conversion opened the door for a superb strike a few moments later.

Those goals brought Kyogo’s tally of league goals to 8 this season, four of which were scored against St Johnstone.  It’s almost as though he is saving them up for a special occasion.

January will be a testing month, with nine games across three competitions, but we look in good shape for it.

    ……………….

You and your fellow virtue signallers across the sea have fallen into a stupid assed trap!

Virtue signalling is a sign of weakness, a sign of vulnerability, a sign of wanting to be seen as a good guy.

Good, for falling for every grift that is sprung on you?

Good, for worrying about events thousands of miles away whilst all of the taxes paid by you are sent to some other virtue signalling financial laundry vibe that is going on in some other far flung place?

Irish people RIGHT NOW are being racially oppressed by fakeugee plants that you and wee Mary Lou Krankie virtue signalled for.

Because you are weak, aimless, and lost, fighting wars from hunners a years ago in yer empty head.

Emty heads like you did this. 👇

If it’s fouls in the box that should be penalised, Kettlewell himself pointed out Butland first shoved Watt in the box (oo err missus) before Tony leaned in to him. Kettlewell said if one’s a foul, then the other one has to be too. Says he just wants parity.

When TB says, ‘who cares’ it’s clear that Kettlewell does! Anyways my point was to commend SK for calling out how indulgent the officials are to the artists formerly knows as rangers:

  5. I see Greig Mailer appointed as Coms director at rangers. Previously with Man U and Brentford. Decent CV and one of them for sure. Some experience of working with Patrick Stewart. Interesting that they see their PR as a big problem.

What’ll it be the morra? – roon the back ae the school bike shed after the 4 o’clock bell to knock 50 shades of green oot of me?

I say – you will emerge out of an unmarked cop car – spark off a set to – I respond and that is the only time that the cop camera will work – and then you can giggle with yer wee like minds on here aboot it till yeez are all radiated by the big bad 5G roon at Big Railroad Blues pub?

    Am I close?

  17. MOTHERWELL were wrongly denied a goal against Rangers yesterday, according to the SFA’s Key Match Incident (KMI) panel

Must be a replay…….8 mean the whole of Europe is talking about it….

Steven McLean was VAR who told Clancy it was a foul

  18. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on 31st December 2024 11:32 am

“Was it not that Clancy blew for a foul which meant VAR could not intervene?”

He blew for the foul after the ball went in so VAR/McLean could have chosen to intervene and ask for an On Field Review but choose not to either in the belief that it was not a foul OR that it was not a clear and obvious error which VAR could intervene with.

The 2 of the 5 dissenters at the KPI panel had the later opinion iirc, not that it was not a foul necessarily BUT rather it was subjective and not clear/obvious enough for VAR to overrule the ref or request an OFR.
