KYOGO FURUHASHI has his sights set on becoming a Half-Century Bhoy when he lines up against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park for the High Noon shoot-out today.
The prolific Celtic hitman has fired in 48 goals in 74 appearances for the Hoops since Ange Postecoglou paid £4.6million to J-League outfit Vissel Kobe for the unknown ace in July 2021.
Kyogo likes to do things in style as he emphasised when he thumped in a hat-trick on his Parkhead debut when the Hoops enjoyed a 6-0 romp against devasted Dundee on August 8.

He had scored his first goal three days earlier in the 4-2 Europa League qualifier against FK Jablonec in the Czech Republic.
And, of course, it was Kyogo who claimed a double in the League Cup Final to shoot down Hibs on December 19 to win the first honour under Postecoglou’s reign.
Not satisfied with that achievement, he staged an action replay in February 26 this year to seal a second successive triumph in the same competition as he thumped two behind Allan McGregor.
So far, only eight Celtic players have beat him to the 50-goal mark with Joe McBride, Jock Stein’s first signing for the club at £22,000 from Motherwell in June 1965, leading the way after a mere 54 games.
