CELTIC fans would have been forgiven if they thought they were seeing double at Parkhead on Wednesday night.
Kyogo Furuhashi’s strike against Livingston was almost an exact replica of his winner against Hearts at the same venue on December 2 the previous year.
On that occasion, the pacy Japanese frontman raced to the near post to thump in a low cross from Anthony Ralston past the helpless Craig Gordon.
It was a typical lightning strike from the attacker who had cost £4.6million from J-League outfit Vissel Kobe five months earlier.
The international raider was still new to Scottish defenders at the time, but they still haven’t been able to stop the Hoops fans’ favourite.
In midweek, it was the turn of Liel Abada to provide the ammunition with a low ball in from the right wing.
His lively colleague arrived smack on time at practically the same point and whipped an effort beyond Livi netminder Ivan Kononvalov for what turned out to be the points-clinching goal.
Carry on scoring, Kyogo!
St Johnstone, you have been warned.
