KYOGO FURUHASHI has sent an emotional and heartfelt message to Celtic fans after sealing his sensational £10million switch to Ligue 1 club Rennes.
The Japanese striker is heading for France as another fans’ favourite, Filipe Jota, makes the journey in the opposite direction.
Kyogo was one of Ange Postecoglou’s first signings for the club when he arrived in a £4.6million deal from from J-League coutfit Vissel Kobe.
The fleet-footed frontman, who celebrated his 30th birthday last Monday, missed four months of his debut campaign with two separate injuries, but still ended the season with a praiseworthy 20-goal haul.

A double against Hibs at Hampden five months after his recruitment gave the Hoops the League Cup and he was pivotal in the run-in as the club regained their title, winning it for the tenth time in 11 years.
Kyogo lashed in 34 strikes as Celtic claimed the treble the following term and is leaving the champions with a tally of 85 goals in his three and a half years.
