CRAIG GORDON has revealed 20-year-old French striker Moussa Dembele is the most fined player at Celtic.
The Scotland international keeper believes the Hoops’ 12-goal hitman is paying for his casual temperament.
Gordon said: “Moussa is the same in training. He is the guy in the team who is fined the most because he is so laid-back he keeps forgetting the rules.
“He is just a very relaxed guy and I think you can see that during games as well. He keeps his head and he keeps his composure.
“But if he can keep doing what he is doing then I don’t think anyone will worry too much about the way he keeps forgetting what time training is or where the meetings are.
“He is an out-and-out goalscorer and he wants to be doing his work in front of goal. For a young guy to come in here and have 12 goals already is astonishing.
“Hopefully this will prove to be a big season for him and he can really kick on from here because it has been a blistering start to this chapter of his career in Scotland.”
Dembele, who joined from Fulham in the summer, marked his debut for the French Under-21 side with a superb volley on the turn in his nation’s 5-1 win over Georgia on Thursday night.
