We are well placed to be one of the top 8 but will probably need 4 more points.
Have been watching this team go about their business for a the past few months and quietly i have been thinking to myself something is afoot here. Posted as much last week that this team is a tremendous outfit. There are no words to adequately describe what Neil Lennon has done with this team in such a short space of time. They are on the verge of greatness and there is nothing they don’t have in their locker room. Wow.

Anyone know if Elhamed was this injury prone before we signed him? Fully confident that we have two excellent back ups for this season but starting to think Elhamed is going to miss more games than he plays.

Soz – not questioning his ability, his commitment or his performance. He has picked up several injuries in the short space of time since joining us. Tonight looked to me like the kind of tackle full backs make on a regular basis. There was no contact, nor did he slide in and stretch the leg awkwardly. He stayed on his feet and was feeling his groin before he went down.
Maybe he’s just been unlucky or maybe he’s not fully fit to begin with? Just an observation.
Just came back down to earth after that heart stopper from Ollie. Thank you. Pure utter joy in our house although Mrs malvinas not happy about the later spill.
It is a grand old team to see !

In the draw for the round of 32, the twelve group winners and the four third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage with the better group records are seeded, and the twelve group runners-up and the other four third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage are unseeded.
The seeded teams are drawn against the unseeded teams, with the seeded teams hosting the second leg. Teams from the same group or the same association cannot be drawn against each other.

That was absolutely outstanding tonight. 95th minute of the ùgame up comes super sub Ntcham with a well composed finish to dispose of the team that lies 4th in Serie A.

Foundation host Celtic Park lunch in the spirit of Brother Walfrid

TO celebrate the 132nd anniversary of Celtic’s founding, Celtic FC Foundation hosted its annual Brother Walfrid community lunch in the Kerrydale Suite, where around 250 guests from the homeless and refugee communities enjoyed a hot buffet lunch.
Continuing the charitable ethos of the club’s Founding Fathers, Celtic FC Foundation continues to work with over 20 local charities and community organisations to help identify guests who can join us at Celtic Park for this twice-yearly lunch.
The charities represented today included:
Elpis Centre
Glasgow City Mission
Glasgow Night Shelter
Glasgow North East Foodbank
Loaves and Fishes
Lodging House Mission
Phoenix Futures
Salvation Army
Scottish Refugee Council
Simon Community Scotland
The Arch Project
The Invisibles
The Marie Trust
Wayside Club Centre
Following the lunch, over 60 guests were invited to take part in a tour of Celtic Park, visiting the boardroom, dressing rooms and taking in the spectacular view of the hallowed turf.
Also, in keeping with our charitable heritage on this special day, we are proud to welcome those taking part in the Founding Fathers’ Fast.
Through today’s Founding Fathers’ Fast we are asking members of the Celtic Family to fast for the day in honour of our charitable heritage and donate what they would have spent on food – a suggested £5 each – to our Christmas Appeal.
Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, said: “Our anniversary lunch is significant for everyone at Celtic as it also marks the beginning of our Annual Christmas Appeal.
“Inviting guests along to Celtic is very important to us and through Celtic FC Foundation, and with the backing of supporters across the world, we fully intend to do much more of this.
“I would like to thank everyone in advance of our Christmas Appeal for doing something to help other people within our communities.”
