  1. Can’t wait to get out and about now, amazing what a lift that

    kind of result gives you.

    Pure adrenaline rush.

Our Celtic ghirls down in rebel town have organised a day out

on Saturday, they’re wetting a new wee Celtic bundle of joys

heid, can just picture them after a few swallies OMG. 8-))

Meanwhile i’ll be sitting with my aul pal Paddy, holding his hand

and wiping his fevered brow, don’t suppose he’ll be able to

have a drink but you never know.???

5.30 am in the Orient .

Replay on Celtic TV in a few hours .

The routine. Read through the CQN live updates reliving the game as if there.

At 1-1 , the clock watch desperately hanging on for F.T.

And then the euphoria of a late late goal.

When was the last time we achieved that in Europe , never mind a win ?

Huge respect to our Tim supporters who ran the dangerous gauntlet in Rome and have been deservedly rewarded with a magnificent win , in particular the lads who were assaulted .

Finally contenders in Europe again ?

  3. Matt

You have a Robin Williams style of humor.

The Celticae sack Rome and knock over the Leaning Tower.

  4. As a (mainly) lurker, don’t think I can sign off tonight without acknowledging an amazing Celtic performance and an outstanding effort in our group so far. Love, love, love it!

    Hx2

  5. Totally elated with our performance and result tonight.

Need to sleep on my back as I don’t want ruin my jokers smile for tomorrow at work. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  6. This day 7 years ago, Lennon’s Celtic took down Barca. Now he’s taken Rome. Well done, Neil Lennon.

We have our European credibility back.

  7. Just returned from orbit – that is up there, right up there, with the best if the best.

Before the game , we dared to hope …………

And verily it came to pass .

  11. Greetin for no particular reason – but there are ones who should have been with us tonight – I hope they are.

  12. I reckon tonight was our best and most important away performance since we went 2 up at Stuttgart in the Seville run.

I thought we really looked like a European team that night and tonight I got that same feeling.

It’s just a pity we can t draw SEVCO in the round of 32.

  13. Toss up for me between Matt’s post, and SFTB,Old Bears Of The Boyne, post

    Both brilliant.

Broony gets more legendary every game.

That was our best away result since Amsterdam in 2001, when we beat Ajax 3-1. Was in Amsterdam Arena that night but missed tonight’s match. Thankfully I had friends and family in Stadio Olimpico Rome tonight. Absolutely buzzin still. Every player was brilliant. Thought Elyounoussi and Broony were a cut above though. Praise to Olly, his winning goal was Messi like.

    Gdansk here we come.🍀👍🇵🇱

I`ll spare you the ” Old Firmist ” comments.

Not a single Former Celtic player on their books to provide balanced commentary on the ” Old Firm ” successes in Europe ?

  21. Celtic TV coverage of the winning goal is priceless.

Chris Sutton’s reaction is also worth listening to.
