Leigh, Kieran, marking your card

596

The most important result in international week is that we get all our (33) players back fit and ready for Saturday. That looks to be the case, although I hear Erik Sviatchenko had a close shave at Hampden. The job now is for Ronny Deila to assess the preparedness of his squad for the Hearts game. All may be fit, but it’ll be impossible for the likes of Tom Rogic to be at his best after coping with a 12,000 mile journey home and the necessary body clock adjustments.

Ronny will also have to counsel Kieran Tierney, who has had another big week. Teenagers often progress in waves, after with each crest there’s often a trough. The focus for Kieran right now has to be 100% Hearts.

I read Leigh Griffiths had an uneventful game against Denmark. Don’t bet against him shining on Saturday. He’s a player who flourishes with a point to prove.

I’ve not written much on Resolution 12 recently and I don’t see that changing for a few weeks (despite the trolls), but I have been very active on the subject. Anyone who thinks I’d skip over this is welcome to self-certify as a mindless troll below (I’m counting on at least one being sufficiently mindless…).

What I’d like to do is mark your card on this one. Completely erroneous claims have been made. Outrageous things have been written. There’s a Kangaroo Court underway which would do Salem proud. Let the loons run with their agenda of running Celtic down, but be circumspect. Your card’s been marked.

You are being played, all right, but not by Celtic.

you are, probably purposefully, missing the point. It suits the foundation of your argument as a celtic trust member to invoke the spirit of someone who died a long time ago and who’s opinion on issues over 125 years later we can only guess at.

You insult the Celtic Trust by referring to us as ‘entryists’ because we promote the payment of a LW to all employees.

    ====================================================

    No,mate .

    That`s a distortion.

I deplore the Celtic Trust because they are an organisation set on imposing THEIR political bent on Celtic and have the avowed intention of usurping the Celtic Board and replacing them with “supporters.”

They are a damaging influence as far as I am concerned.

And I will always stand against any influence which I feel is damaging to Celtic.

It used to be the huns.

Now. Afraid I really have to go.

So your defending the club by asking for Ronny to be sacked, but I’m an ‘entryist’ because ask for Celtic to pay a LW?

    Aye, nae borra :-)

Would our club’s visionary, a Christian man, endorse pictures of Communist murderers being displayed at Celtic games? Would he endorse hateful songs being chanted?

    I would doubt it.

With respect-a term which I use for our cyberfriendship and eventual meet, and not a means of saying with no respect-I think you do HAMILTONTIM and many others a disservice by referring to them as entryists.

They may have opinions with which you disagree about how Celtic should operate, but they have supported Celtic for long enough to be treated with more respect.

My Dad has supported Celtic for 70 years,me for 50 nearly.

    We frequently disagree.

He’s never called me an entryist but he’s used pretty much every other term of endearment!

We all have the same interest, bud. The wellbeing and future of our club.

For the second time in my life-the third for you and my Dad-it is under threat.

We need to deal with that threat.

There are more East Stirlingshire supporters than there are people who choose to live in Communist dumps. That said, a Communist still has more grasp of reality than a supporter of the hapless division three chumps.

  22. Winnings I never buy anything and everything I read. Whether on the JJ site or cqn or Phil Mac etc.

But I can follow a story using my own judgement. And I can build a picturemfrom behaviours, inactions and actions. And that tells me a lot about what is or isn’t going on at CP.

And it isn’t good. From just about every angle I can think of. And it needs to change.

I`m quite sure that the members don`t see themselves as such.

It is the organisation I deplore. Not it`s members who , I have no doubt , are convinced of their rectitude.
