Lennoxtown’s experienced winners

105

The Scottish Premiership is receiving a lot of love internationally this week for its knife-edge title race and dramatic match conclusions.  It deserves more credit for the fact that any team in the league can genuinely be hopeful of taking points from any other.  Celtic are now bookies favourites to take the title, but less than a week ago bottom of the table Livingston came within a whisker of taking a point at Celtic Park.

That favourite status is influenced by recent results.  Irrespective of the manner of the wins, Celtic have taken all nine points available to them this month.  Hearts collected three from nine, while Newco took eight from 12.  Celtic’s title push is on track, but there will be changes in sentiment, and perhaps title favourites, more than once before the season ends.

You and I can get hung up on our own fragilities.  While acknowledging them, I would not swap squads or managers with either title rivals.  Celtic get the job done because we have players and a manager who have been over the ground many times.  Lennoxtown is full of experienced winners.  That’s a quality you would never bet against.

TT Anyone who watched Canadian drama Murdoch will have caught on to masonic policing in Canada.

*Its advertised every night before Mrs TT settles down for Midsomer and when I see Murdoch blessing himself I feel like shouting “a lot of scheitd it didnae happen”.

was it the inspiration for murdoch mysteries ? my nephew has moved to hamilton a few months ago, he is loving it. and the episodes with the orange order.

*its pretty accurate apart from the Catholic polis and a lot of the plos are based on real life events

Its strange how so many like them turn out like that and end up on the boolin klub circuit talkin bout the old days.

Most footballers now have a wealth of advice from their own agent/team to PFA advice.

Some sadly still fall through.not coping with a range of pressures.

Promoted by the readback musings, this article talks of the secret society a little more:

    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/feb/04/integrity-or-influence-peering-into-the-world-of-modern-freemasons#:~:text=Freemasonry%20models%20itself%20upon%20the,Thank%20you%20for%20your%20feedback.

It mentions Italy, P2 and Roberto Calvi – I first learned of that in David Yallop’s scary tome “In God’s Name” about the death of JP 1

*read it years ago, an eyeopener, a catholic can join the masons should he want to as they won’t refuse you, in fact we had a masonic Tim on here for a while, but the Church no longer excommunicate members who do join, just doesn’t permit them to receive the Sacraments

Wasn’t the inference in the book that ‘Propoganda Due’ was a catholic masons operating within/nearabouts the Vatican ?

  8. Watching Araujo erupt onto the Celtic support after he scored

    I know he gets it

    He undersands

Watching him laugh at the ref when he got booked

He is one of us now

TT Wasn’t the inference in the book that ‘Propaganda Due’ was a catholic masons operating within/nearabouts the Vatican ?

*aye it was the P2 Lodge: Propaganda Due was a pseudo-Masonic lodge, active from 1945 to 1981, that operated in Italy, but when “investigated” was proven to be NOT true.

  10. Unbelievable decision not to second yellow Vinicius tonight. You will not see a clearer one.

You been watching our games this year???

    Reverse that

Players are just falling over against us

    Fouls given

    It’s ridic

Caravan of love gets his jersey ripped off, and not just every game

    Its every attack

    No foul

Then he complains (after an opposition player falls over)

  12. Masons are just puppets of the you know whooz.

    More important question should be:

“Who will prevent the banning of Celtic from European football, and then expulsion from the game entirely, IF, there is a stitch up somewhere along the line, forcing Celtic to play Maccabi or some other team from that area?”

Aston Villa was the warning shot!

You don’t need me to outline what the aftermath of such a game would play out like, were Celtic FC, Celtic supporters, Celtic cyberspace would be banned for anti Siames cats or something.

DESMOND WHITE would have prevented Celtic FC’s sacred Green and White Hoops from being sacrificed on the Altar of greed, corruption, and who knows what else, is going on in Europe.

Greed has replaced Integrity and any Rational thought from the Celtic hemisphere, just like the Kelly’s and White’s warned us it would.

  14. Hamilton in New Zealand is also a lodge town. Local real estate agents called the lodge and the gardens, which are amazing, have a Masonic garden, picture that. Must be a Hamilton thang.

    Good morning CQN

Another fine day to be a Celt

Just one more day until we see the bhoys again.

An T – thank you for update last night.

Small step. Let’s see where it goes.

  16. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Vini Jr last night?

Not sure what to make of it all.

The man takes a lot of abuse. A lot.

    He is targeted.

He does not seem like a happy human being

He clearly does not feel respected.

When that Ballon D’Or shenanigans surfaced a while back … I asked myself

“Who would you happily pay to watch play the beautiful game?

    Vini Jr or Rodri?”

    No brainer for me.

But obviously not for the panel.

    Last night?

Public opinion has the Benfica guy nailed already.

He clearly said something under his shirt.

The enquiry process and outcome will be very interesting.

  17. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Por Cierto – I hear you.

At the time, I thought that was a deeply flawed process.

BTW – I am more than happy to accept the possibility that the guilty verdict was correct.

But the process was clearly arbitrary, reactive and framed inappropriately.

    Ladies and gents …

… We have here in front of us

… one angel and one devil.

Subsequently turned out the angel wasn’t an angel after all … but a nasty piece of work.

    That’s on one side.

    On the other?

Rightly or wrongly, I see parallels between Vini Jr and our own Neil Lennon.

A key player in a big team … who plays with an edge … and successfully so.

So not an immediately likeable person to the opposition.

    Here comes the big “but”

All the above overlaid with a flawed perception …

… that it is unacceptable for persons of that specific ethnicity …

… to behave in a dominant, arrogant, superior manner.

    Bizarrely …

… while operating in a trade were you actually need to be dominant and superior

… Where the individuals in question actually are dominant and superior

… And where someone of WASP ethnicity who projected similarly … would be praised for doing so !!

    Net result?

Uninformed types feel comfortable and secure lazily subscribing to the old cliché

“He brings it on himself. Hell mend him”
