NEIL LENNON is poised for a Celtic shake-up in the final Europa League Group H meeting against Lille at Parkhead tonight.

The Hoops boss will ring the changes with Israeli double-act Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed sustaining injuries in the 1-1 stalemate with St Johnstone on Sunday while Olivier Ntcham took a knock in the loss in the San Siro last week. All three are likely to sit out the meaningless fixture against the French side.

That could open the door for Scotland Under-21 international David Turnbull, Ivorian anchorman Ismaila Soro and Polish striker Patryk Klimala to make rare first-team starts.

There may also be an appearance for Shane Duffy who could be drafted back into central defence after a knee problem kept him out of the games against AC Milan and the Perth outfit.

Greg Taylor, who came on at left-back as a substitute for Diego Laxalt at the start of the second-half against the Saints, could also get the nod to be in at the kick-off.

Lennon has watched in anguish at the team’s wretched form in Europe this season that saw them knocked out of the Champions League by unseeded and unfancied Ferencvaros in Glasgow in August which dropped the side into the Europa League.

More misery followed with four defeats home and away against AC Milan (1-3 and 2-4) and Sparta Prague (both 1-4) and a solitary point gained against tonight’s opponents in France where they let a two-goal advantage slip to draw 2-2.

The Parkhead gaffer, speaking to the Daily Record, said: “We are looking at Klimala, Turnbull, Soro getting game time which they deserve and need with the run of games coming up.

“It’s ideal to give them an opportunity to play.”
