LENNY RECALLS TEEN ACE

CELTIC have recalled Ewan Henderson from his season-long loan from Ross County.

The teenage midfielder joined the Dingwall club in the summer to get more game-time in the top flight.

However, after 10 appearances for the Highlanders, Neil Lennon has opted to end the temporary transfer and bring him back to the champions.

Six of Henderson’s appearances came from the start, but he had not featured since the 2-1 defeat to St Mirren on November 23.

The 19-year-old playmaker will be welcomed back to Parkhead at the same time the club have allowed three players – Eboue Kouassi, Jack Hendry and Lee O’Connor – to go on loan while Lewis Morgan is heading for the States with Inter Miami and Scott Sinclair has already agreed a two-and–a-half year contract at English Championship side Preston North End.

Coincidentally, the Hoops take on County at Parkhead tomorrow.

The last time they were in the east end of Glasgow in October they were thrashed 6-0.
