I watched Olly Lee’s body language as he hobbled off Celtic Park on Sunday, it was clear he was distressed at something more than just missing part of a meaningless game. For him, the Scottish Cup Final was in jeopardy, which Hearts have now confirmed he will miss.
Football managers like an excuse for failure as much as anyone and Hearts are lining them up ahead of the Scottish Cup Final. Cup finals come round rarely for players like Lee, so I was empathetic to his distress as he left the field, but Craig Levein was straight in with the “hugely disappointing news for us……….. and especially for Olly.”
There are a raft of Hearts players with no chance of playing on Saturday, look out for Levein drip feeding the news between now and then, to ensure everyone knows how hard their job is.

AVB would be a very interesting move but slightly concerning that his stints in charge wherever he has been have all been pretty short. Only 1 year at every club except Zenit (2 years).
Still, all will be revealed next week hopefully.

Neil Lennon,no thanks,he had his day at Celtic,I remember the Ross County debacle at Hampden,his team selection and subs we’re awful,I was in with a crowd of hard core Celtic Supporters,who on that afternoon if they could got a hold of Lennon,they would have strung him up,and god forbid if he gets the Celtic gig,we can say goodbye to 9 in a row,and we all know the old saying ,A Leopard never changes it’s spots.

1. The Great Desmondo
2. Peter Lawwell
3. The new manage, his agent, his immediate family, his advisers.
4. NFL
5. Staff and players.
6. The world at large.
The question is, at what stage do the pundits, bookies and assorted others access that cascade to gain their inside info?
