If the Premiership divides into four groups:
Celtic: 8 points clear at the top with 67 games in hand.
Hearts, Newco and Aberdeen: within 2 points of each other in the battle for two Europa League games in June 2017.
St Johnstone: isolated in the middle of an 8 point bubble.
The rest: all 2 points from the automatic relegation spot.
Then Motherwell top their group. They have infinitely more to play for than Celtic at Fir Park tomorrow. For them, this is about livelihoods.
We have an early kick-off at what will be a hostile environment. Arrive with your war face on, Celtic, and get the job done.
Pretty stunning work by the Celtic commercial team, who, alone against the nation’s major retailers, were promoted by The Telegraph as one of The best Christmas 2016 adverts. A level of professionalism is beginning to envelop the club (and I know it’s not there completely yet).

MARRAKESH EXPRESS on 3RD DECEMBER 2016 10:31 AM
___________________________________________________________
Ah know, ah know, ah know…..
Thing is, we’ve all been there and watched with our disbelieving eyes as, trophy after trophy, after trophy was snaffled right in front of us.
Thing is, all the snaffled trophies are in the books as hun victories or, Cellic defeats.
Thing is,….what can we do about it ?
The LNS whitewash was flimsily handled by Cellic PLC who are theeeeeeee ultimate power of Timdom.
But,…..what good is all that power if,….there isny a will there to execute justice ?
The easy option is the one that the Cellic PLC have taken…..
Sit tight…..
Say nothing…..
When the gates start to fall – bring in a squirrel and quell the thirst for justice among the mainstream Cellic supporter base.
Sit tight…..
Get a treble(hopefully)
Sit tight…..
Hope it blows over…..
And on, and on, and on……

No idea…

Objection! It was used in a clearly humorous way, non-aggressively, and certainly not vicariously.
You ever heard of context?
In fact, I could have used another word which would have been much more effective in an alliterative sense, but, out of respect for blog rules I didn’t.
It’s actually getting ridiculous now.
And no, I won’t be bothering Paul with such mierda.
Keep up the good work.
Beatbhoy
I’m with you on that .

Great post
And a tribute to your Da’s generation
Strength of character that only got stronger the more it was subjected to hun bias. The great thing bout Lisbon looking at your post you could say it was a thank you to that generation whilst catapulting Celtic onto a different plain for honours.

Listening to Tim Vickery during the night.
I believe he had a close friend on board the plane that came down and knew a few others who lost their lives.
It would appear that the company which ran the plane was cutting corners on the fuel and that one of the company owners was the pilot who flew the plane at the very edge of the fuel range.
Very sad and an utter disgrace

BRTH. Aside from your high moral tone, the very grave charges you’re making here are seriously misplaced. Even if there is some truth in what you say, it’s hardly the time to be airing what is, at best, conjecture.
I’m sure you wouldn’t want anyone ‘sticking you in’ about past or present misdemeanours without the evidence to back it up.
Celtic starting line up v Motherwell ko 12;15 pm SkySports 5
Gordon; Lustig, Toure, Simunovic, Izaguirre; Brown, Armstrong; Roberts, Rogic, Forrest; Dembele;
Subs: De Vries, Gamboa, Christie, Mackay-Stevens, , Bitton, McGregor, Boyata

I was about to add that my da’s generation were actually well happy in the end. How good must it have felt to have lived through the dismal post war years and still be young enough, Mid 30, to savour the most glorious era in Celtic’s history. To be old enough to go to Lisbon on a wonderful adventure which ends in ultimate glory.
Couple of notable absences from today’s squad – no Eric and no Griff. Hmmmmm
Brendan fair likes his wingers, with GMS pushing for some game time? – maybe a player on the move in January.
Erik rested for Tuesday, whereas Leigh Griffiths omission is an odd one, must be injured…… Shirley
Very attacking team again always mindful of the sftb posts, but play to form, avoiding mibbery and we’ll win.
Brogan, Tim Vickery has a great insight into football, not only South American football.
He occasionally appears on radio 5 and is always worth listening to
He was on one radio 5 show during the last world cup. After listening to likes of Motson and Shearer bemoan the state of English football, he hit them with a few home truths particularly about the EPL.
He said he can’t understand the English superiority complex and sense of entitlement (sounds like a club/company here) when they have done nothing of any note in last 40 years. Tim suggested that England should stop expecting to win each tournament by planninh ahead to the 2020 euros and have a team capable reaching the semis
He was greeted with the usual we are England type answers.
Gooooooood Morning CQN
Nearly Celtic time :-)
Kill Ultra, no idea what your objectives are, but I am one of the Res 12 shareholder signatories
Shareholder no. C0000054247
I also had my Auld Da sign up – shareholder no. C0000052139
Just so you know
I had numerous other Bhoys and Ghirls sign up, and still have copies of the originals, do you want their shareholder numbers as well
Me I’m happy the Res 12 Bhoys are leading the way on this
Hail Hail
Dallas
Vickery is excellent. I heard Piers Morgan on Talksport the other day absolutely ripping into England and their superiority complex.
Griff not being on the squad is a strange one. Has he not fully recovered from his hamstring injury, is Brendan showing him who’s the boss or keeping him for the City game and the multitude of forthcoming games.
We don’t know but I trust Brendan’s judgement.

your earlier post about Casablanca got me thinking… we haven’t had a good CQN Barney in a while …. so … top 3 films of all time
1. Casablanca. Bogey at his coolest. Bergman at her most beautiful… Dooley Wilson singing, some of the greatest lines in film history, including maybe the best closing line ever…
2. Tokyo Story… simple. Real. In spite of those, Transcendently beautiful.
3. The Godfather. ” Leave the gun, Take the cannoli.” Words to live by.

So you’re speaking for 100 shareholders!!
—
‘do you want their shareholder numbers as well;’
THat’s just cheap and nasty.
You know very well the (4) shareholders I’m asking about..
KILL ULTRA
No-one has suggested that The Four Requusitioners are necessarily shareholders.
They have taken forward a resolution backed by shareholders, and with the blessing of the vast majority of those shareholders.
I don’t understand your problem with that. And frankly I find your constant carping and suggestions of impropriety-at best!-both tiresome and defamatory.
BRTH. post @9:29am on the 3rd – KU you’re reference makes name sense
